I'd agree with that.  This is such a fascinating world he's built, it would be a shame not to explore as many corners of it as possible.

That I don't know, but at this point I trust Jim has some sort of plan.

Current deal he sold was for 3, says he has ideas for about 6 if they sell well and he can sell the rest.

Thanks.  Reading that I am now even more ridiculously excited for this than I was, and that's saying something.

PS  In modern times not all cheese is actually Animal stomach enzyme (animal Rennet), they have created a vegan version that is processed from a mold byproduct.  Because mold poop is somehow healthier, I guess.

I don't personally hold this viewpoint, and to avoid political TT I won't go into my opinions any further, but for at least some vegans, especially the ones that make that distinction, it's less about health and more about the morality of not having to kill animals.

Do you have a source on that?  No because I don't think it's true, but just because I would like to see the original context and if there is anymore to the quote.   Could probably find it myself, but thought I'd check.

I agree.  For real science fiction that something like printing meat or replicators makes sense, but not in Steampunk.

My goodness I am loving this.  Admittedly, I am a sucker for duels in fiction, but still, very well written.

I don't know, All I could think of is an episode form the Colbert Report form a couple years back where he talked about scientists trying to grow artificial meat without an actual animal, which at that time was still several years of testing away form maybe being used for sausage.  I'll try to find a link.

Pretty much what OZ said.  Damn if Jim doesn't know how to write an action scene, regardless of the series.

26
While that was awesome.  Not that there was any doubt, but Jim clearly hasn't lost his talent for evocative and exciting action scenes, and I am still lovign the steampunkiness of it all.

I like it so far.  I'm really digging the way it unashamedly revels in the ludicrousness of Steam Punk and Airships without devolving into winking at the reader or loosing a sense of real excitement and tension (not that I expected anything less from Jim, but still it should be said).  The sense of anticipation as:

Spoilers may not have been necessary there, but I figured better safe than sorry.

Are you kidding, those names are glorious!  You just don't get that kind of wonderful nonsense outside of something like steampunk.

Oooh, Ok good call, I could get being him being that kind of vindictive villain.
Especially if he does well as the Purple Man in Jessica Jones.
