Murphy's return could be part of Mirror, Mirror as we should be seeing Alternate Universe versions of various characters.

The Gatekeeper never actually went onto Demonreach during the series. He very specifically never set foot on it cause Alfred held a grudge against him. He went somewhere close by the Island but still on the lake.

There was also the path that Peabody used to get near Demonreach in Turncoat that was an alley or something in Chicago that Mouse and the P.I. Kid staked out.

I don't know if someone has already mentioned this but Nicodemus likes to destroy records kept on him whenever he can. Michael Carpenter mentions this in Grave Peril.

Now in Small Favor he had the Archive at his mercy, it hasn't been mentioned but I would assume while Tessa and Rosanna were torturing Ivy, Nicodemus used the distraction to magically/forcibly delete information on him from the Archive.

It is the type of move I would expect from him. Thusly the Archive might not have much info on Nicodemus anymore.

I don't disagree about what you saying about changing the color of an actor, but that doesn't bother me half as much as changing the sex of a character.. Because the character remains the same, just a different actor of color plays him or her.  Opera has done it for years, Tosca remains Tosca no matter the race of the singer playing her.  Dr Who is the latest, suddenly both the Doctor and the Master are women?  Why?  There are strong Time Ladies out there, Ramoda was one of them, so why change the sex of the Doctor? They did it with Captain Marvel as well.. Okay, now I wonder when Wonder Woman will become Wonder Man or Black Widow becomes Black Widower? ::)

The bolded part will only happen in Disney buys out Warner Brothers. Wonder Woman is part of the DC Comicbook Universe while Wonder Man is part of The Marvel Comicbook Universe. I think you are safe from that for awhile.

Oddly enough Marcone having the Coin causes Butters becoming a Knight of the Cross added emphasis given that he would be there to counteract Marcone's influence on the Paranet and its Chicago members.

As for Anduriel listening at the shadows on the Knights, those Swords house Angels as well and Anduriel been described as a bit of a coward. Given the 3 swords routinely counter 30 Coins I don't think cowardly is an adjective that can be applied to the Angels in the Swords.

On the Noose and its weakness, the Knights have said that they aren't there to destroy the holders of the Coins but to redeem them. That includes (however vexing it can be) Nicodemus and Deidre as Michael showed in Skin Game. The Weakness of the Noose only has value in killing Nicodemus.

Off topic but I do wonder why the Real Shroud of Turin hasn't been used to either heal Helen Bickett's daughter (aka Persephone) or Murphy. Although honestly it is Persephone that has me wondering more cause Murphy likely declined if offered.

I'm not saying it's impossible, in just curious what she was up to.

I read that particular comment by the Erlking to suggest Harry was "a chip off the old block" in that she had done similar things to The Erlking in the past.

Which does bring the question of what she was running from. (Aside from the White Court.)

I'm not sure what trouble Margaret would have caused the Erlking.  It might be interesting to consider what she would have been doing that would impact him.

The Erlking did say that Harry being LeFay's child made Harry's "visit" to his domain make more sense.

Said visit was in Changes when Harry & Susan were being chased by the Ebs, their Red Court Vampire entourage, and the Ik'k'oux.

Margaret Lefay likely dropped in unexpectedly a few times with some antagonistic +1's.

They killed someone else important to Eb. Someone that ranked higher in his thoughts than his daughter. When he mentioned that they had taken someone from him, Harry mentioned Margaret and Eb said "Her Too."

Lily was upset when she became the Summer Lady that her dreams of having a family were gone.

I had originally in SK assumed that it was just the duty of the Summer Lady getting in the way and was kinda confused as to how it couldn't be worked around.

Then the Molly short Story explained it if the Summer/Winter Ladies have the same restriction.

Given the Courts' emphasis on balance I wouldn't bet on there being different restrictions personally.
