Winter forces were at the border, leaving Arctis Tor mostly undefended.

Mabs powerful but I really struggle to believe shes click my fingers and armies die powerful, we did see her at war once remember....

Sells' limited knowledge points to him NOT having a teacher, not not having a teacher.

I'd bet that he was self taught, using an extensive library of books, and *someone/thing* made sure those books were the real deal

The recoil of the cannon is actualy slightly more than a single engine, but no where near enough to slow the aircraft enough for it to crash, as long as its operating on both engines.
Still, you'd never got off the ground if you were firing.

The First Von Carstein Vampire to rule a province of the empire did raise an army of zombies and skeletons to try and conquer the world (or empire at least) but he wasnt "evil" in any great sense.
He raised an army from his Human subjects as well as his zombie army, and didnt exterminate human populations he conquered.

There was also a short lived kingdom in which the king was in possession of the Crown of Nagash, and they just used zombies as slave labour in the fields.

I think he may have talked himself into a corner with that one then.

We've been told that the two Fae Courts fighting themselves into a stalemate keeps the world going round, if Winter or Summer overthrew the other, the effect on the world would be apocalyptic.

The only way Dragons fit into that as equals is if they're something like the great old ones, not of Earth.

Or of course, if the Fae number rather more than we have been led to believe to far, the queens might not be that far above Elder Gruff and co.

F.  That might be a bit of a push.  Mab would *accidentaly* turn the earth into a ball of ice if Titania wasnt matching her strength.  Titanias enforcer can blow a denarian to pieces with little more effort than flicking a finger, and has beaten three senior council members.
Ferrovax might be strong, but he aint a planet killer.

Hell, a Knight of the Cross has offed a Dragon.
