she's not mortal, she's over 1,000 years old. As has been said ireland had many kings. it was why they tended to get conquored by the english-they were busy fighting among themselves to fend off a more organiazed outsider, but that's still a lot. butters the logical line would be David BUT depending on how you read the bible they all go back to Abraham. If that isn't enough he might be a levite (variation on levine) which is a line to Moses, the law giver. there are the pre Davidic kins like Saul. and joshua (a king in action if not name.)

He didn't know the history but I could fill in the blanks-a lesser son of the Duke of Brittany who settled in England during the civil war between Matilda and Stephen (the time of the Cadfael books) by where a supported of Matilda who's son was Henry II. You think the family line is ho-hum but then 42 generations back your ancestor is the uncrowned king of France and known as the Hammer of Tours. Well that puts a lot of 'royal' blood in the general population

just wonder who are the peace tlaks supposed to be with? White court wants no war and were pretty much out of it, the black are all but gone, the red ARE gone. maybe that's why the book takes so long. Harry and lopez and a few of the rest of the mousketteers are sitting at a table waiting for someone to show up.

sincer brief cases is coming out in june, that does not bode well for a full length novel. it was this book- another anthology of hsort stories almost all of which we've seen before that has me royally ticked off. it's mostly re-runs-those damn bigfoot stories have appeared a few times- and yet we're supposed to cough up full price as if it were a full length novel? I use to gobble stuff up as soon as it was out, this? it doesn't give me hope for PT and I'll wait until brief cases is 'used' on amazon.

where i live just north of Philly there is a winery, Stone and Key. that also makes wonderful cider. I go in and they know to pull me a pint of their 'cherry pie' which is a little sweet and very tart.

You don't have my option. read the books LONG before the TV show. I was a big anita blake fan but got sick of her nothing plots and endless sex. so while looking around for a replacement saw Dresden files, wanted an urban fantasy in place of too many normal fantasy's and fell in love.
