I just logged onto the boards and was searching for a thread I started a couple of days ago. I didn't see it anywhere, and thought it might have gotten deleted or something. Then I noticed that the most recent response on any of the threads was May 20th (5 days ago). Did something happen and wipe out everything more recent than that?

Well, the board has been down since Friday. I'm guessing they're rebuilding the forums' posts. It's conceivable they lost all posts after the 20th, or they could be restoring using a roll-forward method, which means it may be awhile until the posts catch up.

Okay, I haven't been on here sincde then so I didn't realize they were down.

The missing posts are gone forever, alas. The board was restored from the hosting company's most current backup. Since the previous machine is dead dead dead, there's no way to access the data that occurred but wasn't backed up in the window between the last backup and the crash.

So, what are you saying, Priscellie? That server is dead? Will there be a memorial service? Where do I send flowers? That server was very, very good to me.

Heh, I haven't posted anything significant since Thursday, so no loss here. I've been avoiding the boards to avoid spoilers for WttJ issue 2.
