Saturday, 11:15 am – 1215 pm: Watching The Detectives: “Private dicks, gumshoes, shamus, pinkertons, consulting detectives we love them all but aren’t they even better with a supernatural second job?.” With Seanan McGuire and Mike Carey, Alice Lawson Moderating.

Sunday, 11:15 am – 12:15 pm: Truth, Justice and The Home Offce: “We’ve all seen how supernatural and paranormal threats are handled by the hero. There isn’t always a convenient Wizard in the local phonebook. The authorities can’t just ignore these things, but some modifications to their usual methods may be needed.”

Sunday, 4:15 pm – 5:15 pm: V is for Vampire: “The perennial favourite monster still isn’t going away, and keeps coming back in a new but irritating form.” With Freda Warrington, Charles Stross and Sam Stone (Telos Publishing) Moderating.

Monday, 11:15 am – 12:15 pm: Faeries. “The not so nice creatures at the bottom of the Garden, from the Dresden Files and October Daye to Lost Girl”. With Seanan McGuire.

Monday, 3:00 pm – 4:30 pm: Closing Ceremony.

Wow, that is great news, been begging for Jim to come over for ages.  Handy for me being so close to the hotel that I don't have to travel as he is virtually on my doorstep.  He can come round for a cup of tea if he wants.  LOL

Gosh. I hope he enjoys; Eastercon used to be my home convention, for basically the latter half of the nineties, and I always had a great time with it.

I can dress like John Steed - best of Bond Street, bowler and brolly, yes?
Mind you, I'd look like a prat, but I can always give it a shot.

Fun, This sounds like something I might attend.
And I'm pretty sure I will now that I bought a membership for 60£ before it increases to 70£. Now I have something to look forward to next year.

I can't go. I'll be a few days away from having a baby!

(if all goes according to due date) :)

If anyone's listening, can Jim pleeeeease consider a stopover in Berlin?

Crossposting this from a thread I started on the main spoiler board. I hope someone can ask Jim this at Eastercon. I'm putting the question behind spoiler brackets, since I don't want anybody to accidentally spoil himself for the end of Skin Game.

Awesome panel today.  Hope Jim has a good night's sleep as he was very tired apparently.  I have posters, a book, and various other bits for him to sign tomorrow.  Here is hoping I don't break Jim by demanding too much.  My first time at a literary Eastercon and it is so different to other conventions.

Yeah, his flight was delayed an entire day, so he had no time to rest and acclimate himself to the new time zone.

Just so you know, Jim only allows fans to get three items signed per trip though the line, so you might want to prioritize!
