Title: URL's in Spoiler Tags
Post by: Quantus on July 28, 2011, 06:04:32 PM
(click to show/hide)

First noticed here:
So Ammoracchius is
(click to show/hide)

Esperacchius is
(click to show/hide)

Fidelacchius is
(click to show/hide)
Any Thoughts?

Thought one: Use Spoiler Tags!

EDIT:  Sorry, didn't think I needed them with the Spoiler warning in the title.

First noticed here:

First, easiest workaround:  Having [GS Spoilers] in the title means you don't need spoiler code.  Which I believe is what they ment by spoiler tag.

Second workaround:  Use the color option to color the text black and advise viewers to highlight the spoilers to reveal the text rather than the normal hover method.

So Ammoracchius is
(click to show/hide)

Esperacchius is
(click to show/hide)

Fidelacchius is
(click to show/hide)

EDITEDIT:  Im trying I swear!  I wont let me :'(

Edit:  Your original title did not have the spoiler warning in the title.  (as evidenced by the titles of the first replies).  This was changed by the Mod that put that message into your post.

It's easy.

Spoiler Warning in title --> No spoiler tags needed in the message body
No Spoiler Warning in title --> spoiler tags needed.

No Spoiler Warning in title --> spoiler tags needed.

Which works for him since he's the OP.

Well damn, I had thought I had put the GS Spoiler in the title.  Teach me to post after an all night read marathon  :-[

Still in general wish the URL mouseover formatting didnt override the spoiler tag mouseover formatting, but that may well not be something that cant be fixed.

I the future when i need to do that ill probably just replace the offending text with a non-spoiler something or other, and hopefully in context following the link will convey the info.

You did see how I managed to get the spoiler tag to obscure Excalibur right?

Yeah, Serack's method works!

Code: [Select]
So Ammoracchius is
Excalibur
