DFRPG / Re: Red-Court Infected, the hunger, and donated blood

i thought that any semi-turned red court vampire, such as susan, had to avoid drinking any blood, because doing that automatically turned you into a full fleged red court vampire. therefore a half turned red court vampire cant sate their thist with blood because dong that turns them into a vampire.

I thought they had to kill someone to become a full fledged red court vampire. Must go back to my books and read up a bit more. Does it ever mention what the Black Court vampires feed off? Was it death?

Okay, this is pretty cool. I just found this link on a friend's blog. I really like the Zatana(sp?). (Girl Magician costume.)

This is actually something I have wondered about. I don't remember hearing Susan talk about food (or eat anything) while she was in Chicago in Blood Rites. I have been wondering if maybe the "turned" but not vampires might be drinking some donated blood just to keep themselves under control.

You are the one who has brought up death. Twice. No one else has said a thing. (Whistles)

(I have one of those big blue spotted canning pots, is that large enough? Or are we talking Cauldron size?)

I didn't hurt him!  I constantly monitored his sanity-state.  Though perhaps it had more of an effect on him than I had suspected.  He was very open with sekrit Dresden stuffs over lunch. :D

And you will be spilling said "sekrit" Dresden stuffs to the rest of us, correct? Please.

G4 is showing the Comic Con on TV right now. Still no sign of Jim on their itinerary of guests. I hope they do an interview with him. They have already interviewed several comic book related panel guests and the actors for True Blood, the HBO TV series based on Charlaine Harris's books. Want to see Jim Butcher!!

I will not name my first child Valentinez Alkalinella Xifax Sicidabohertz Gombigobilla Blue Stradivari Talentrent Pierre Andri Charton-Haymoss Ivanovici Baldeus George Doitzel Kaiser the Third, no matter how much currency it would give them in the supernatural world.

Okay, that one you will need to explain. I get the long name part allowing you plenty of conversations with demons, but why Valentinez? And isn't Alkaline(lla)? something in batteries?

Miharu -- Mavra is Black Court.  White + Black = Grey. :D

Though the Thomas/Susan ship is referred to as "Pink Court" by my friends. :D

Ooops. Forgot. Thought Mavra was red.

Oh... need to keep this thread on track. Uh lets see.....

Upon learning that Santa is a fairy, I will be careful of making negative references to the Easter Bunny, the Great Pumpkin, or Elvis. You just never know.  ;D

I will not try to hook Thomas up with Mavra to see if I can breed the new Gray vampires.

Correct me if I am wrong but wouldn't that be Pink Vampires, not Grey?

 :D

I will not make hissing sounds or Lord Voldemort jokes to Cowl's back anymore
a) Only to his front
b) when I am ready to dodge the incoming flying projectiles

I will never make jokes about a possible online fan base someday, who knows? Stranger things have happened.

I will not ever turn my back on Michael's Tree House again unless I am the one up there
a) Its just so damn popular

I will not ever make comments about Tinkerbell, you never know, size is often disceptive. Yoda for instance.

I will not ever let anyone borrow my coat again, no matter how short term. Bad shit happens to me.

I will avoid riding in Murphy's car as much as possible. Her car insurance premiums cannot take much more.

We need one of those shirts that says "Everything I need to know about life I can learn from Harry Dresden." and then a list of quotes on how to deal with things.

Off-topic, I apologize. But I am so confused as to the different titles of wardens. Can anyone just list them in rank? Is Harry in the middle or at the bottom?

Okay, I got one for you. But its a reversal, things that men do that drive women (or maybe just me) nuts. When you work really hard on a surprise dinner, and you are making steak, and you have done everything perfect. Its cooked perfectly the way he likes it, it melts in your mouth, its tender, its moist, it is one of the finest creations you have ever wrought in your young life. And the bastard asks for ketchup. KETCHUP!!!!!!

.... ingrateful...... <Grumble, Grumble. Grumble>

WOW. I did not realize the publishers tripled their print run on White Night. Every bookstore in my area was sold out after the first day.

That's impressive.
