DF Books / Re: Did you discover the books because of the TV Show?

I picked up the first 3 Dresden books in my local library too.
I remember thinking, 'A wizard PI? that's gotta be bad.'
But what sold me was Jim's martial arts background.
So glad I picked them up.

I had never heard of the show (I live in London) or the books.
I saw Storm Front in my local library and thought "a wizard PI? sounds like crap"
I know, how wrong can a guy be?
I read Jim's bio, and the fact that he was a martial artist decided me.

The next thing I know, I'm giving handjobs on the corner to get money for books and spending all my time on internet forums.
I'm just glad my mother isn't alive to see me like this.

Thanks for the advice, I think I will pick it up. Hope I can find a store in London that carries it.
Great C. S. Lewis quote.

I'm just wondering if anyone is in the same boat I'm in...
I used to love playing RPG's, when I was 15. Don't get me wrong, I didn't out grow them, just the people I played with. I think making a Dresden files RPG is a great gift to the fan boys and girls out there, I'm just not sure it's worth picking up for curiosity sake.
