I have begun writing my series Adflictus Planis, and I have finished the first four chapters already. I would like feedback on whether you guys like it or not, and wheter anyone would be interested in buying the book when it's published.

God no on the romance. Know of any publishers that might accept a fantasy novel from an unknown author? Granted I'm still several months to a year out in regards to finishing the first book, but It'll give me a few places to snoop out.

What about traditional publishing? How many books per year do you need for that? Cause I don't think that I can do 4-6 books per year.

My family is actually quite supportive about me writing, thankfully. Though given that there are 22 of us in the Somerville clan and everyone is talking and cooperating with each other this is hardly a surprise to me and I hadn't even considered that some people consider that writing should not be a living.

Unfortunately, The Deposed King is the first, and I mean first, person to give me feedback outside of my family, none of whom are writers and are likely biased. :'(

I suggest playing around with two distinct and separate concepts, like mutants and aliens, spaceships and romans, familiars and steampunk, pokemon and the lost roman legion (*cough* Alera *cough*), and see how they could potentially fit together in different ways.

I am planing on writing a series called Adflictus Planis, and have finised the majority of the world's mechanics. I am still in the design phase- I haven't even begun book 1 yet, though I do have the plot lined out- I desperately need feedback on how my series' world works. A such, I would really appreciate it if you guys went to centurionsofrome.deviantart.com and give me some feedback, even if that only consists of "good job" or something similar.

Thanks, though I was hoping to physically meet the group rather than join them through the internet. It would allow me a greater understanding of the game if I could talk to a vetran player in person.
