I am very well, thank you. And that is awesome about the solar panels!

I don't know what the Gormenghast trilogy is. I am watching a Netflix show called "Diablero". It's about a demon hunter in México city (present day). It's a Mexican show, only 8 episodes so far (I've just finished watching the fifth)

Oh, storms are not rare in Buenos Aires. If I compare my childhood with now, perhaps it is somewhat rainy but not that much. Temperature has definitely risen though.
The Gormenghast series is set of fantasy books written by during the Lord of the Rings era, so it is pretty old. It is very very weird (no pun intended!), inspired many popular tropes, and is very well written.
Just googled "Diablero", seems quite interesting. Wonder if the have an english subbed version.

Just completed the 5th season of Vikings on Netflix, loved that series. I'm beginning to wonder if it is worth continuing my Netflix subscription, I keep it only for "Stranger Things", but it's just so expensive. There are so many cheaper alternatives lately.

(((((FW))))))!! How are you?

Well, December is the beginning of Summer in the Southern Hemisphere. According to the latitude it will be warmer or not. This year, in my city, the beginning of December has been quite mild, but near the end of it, it's a lot hotter. Saturday has been very hot (and Friday and Thursday quite hot, but not as much as Saturday). Then a storm came and now it's not so hot. We will see what happens for the last night of the year.

And yes, all of us who read Christmas' Eve spoiled ourselves. Perhaps Otlan got the right idea, waiting.
I'm well thank you! :) How are you?!!
I just got my house fully powered by solar panels, so I'm feeling particularly happy!
Currently reading the Gormenghast trilogy, I can't believe I missed this masterpiece till now.

There are a lot of storms lately. I don't recall hearing about so many growing up...

"As of December 27th, 2018, the current draft of the novel is up to chapter 39. Progress!"

That is what we know so far.
Now there's some nice news! :) That makes me optimistic. Our man is beast of a writer once he has the wind on his sail.

It has been a shopping day, I am tired. Luckily today is not so hot as yesterday. I had a raspberry and pear smoothie, but it tasted mostly like a raspberry one.-
((Dina))
The pear is subtle. Raspberry is more in-your-face tasting.
Is it hot every December in the Southern Hemisphere?

LOL, thank you, Otlan! And likewise.

(((((((LC))))))) Good to see you.

Have you folks read Christmas' Eve? I am quite excited to have received some Dresden.
I should have waited for Peace Talks before digging into Christmas Eve. I think I got slightly spoilt about some even of Peace Talks.

same reason disney always makes them the villain in movies:it allows you to comfortably categorize them without searching for moral ambiguity or exploring the sensitive topic of whether death, suffering and disaster are necessary.
good point. i see where you're coming from...
however, i'd prefer such worldviews to remain in less intellectually challenging works of art (there are gripes there as well, but i won't get into that)
one thing i absolutely love about the DF world is that it is complex.

I defenitely want Shiva to appear. The Hindu god of destruction. Preferably as one of Demonreach's prisoner whom Harry needs to talk to or make bargains with.
I doubt that he's in demonreach. He and Kali are tasked with the purpose of "change" in the universe, we see that everyday in DF. :)
And frankly, I find the idea that he should be restrained in demonreach offensive. Why do people think any pantheon related to destruction or death (like Hades) are "evil"? They're just doing a job, someone has to do it.

I'm not unfortunately. This years Nanbudo World Cup is being held in Dehradun but it is too expensive for me. :(
Is Dehradun close to you?

But I hope to one day go and see India, and it would be cool if you came to Zagreb one day :D
Dehradun is not close to me. In fact, it is quite far away. But if you could give me a date, I might be able to come see the tournament if my schedule permits.
Look at all the people online!  It's almost as if it were a holiday that I've been excluded from.

Just took my first exam.  Kicked its ass 8)
Congrats mate! ;D

FW, you don't happen to have a friend who gave Howl a free air ticket Zagreb-Delhi, right?  :(
No. Although I'd love to have a friend giving me free tickets. Few pics I've seen has left me dying to visit Zegreb sometime in my life. :(

When are you coming over Howl?!
