Ortega - He played Richard on Lost.

Seconding Jeff Bridges for McCoy.

Adam Baldwin for Kincaid. Win.

Mort - This is funny, but, I think Bruce Campbell would be a good Mort. He can pull of the charlatan medium goofiness with great camp.

Nicodemus.

Emerson can go from nice guy to evil in zero seconds flat. Plus his eyes, yikes.

I think it's funny that Neil Flynn was on the list, but looking at everyone on there, Joe Flanigan would be perfect.

Nathan Fillion got a lot of votes but... I love the guy, but still... I just identify him too much with Firefly heh.

Anybody in northern CA get theirs yet?

I was strangely disappointed when I saw that UPS had made a delivery today (some history books I had ordered) but nothing from Evil Hat. :o

I know my preorder number is 415 - hopefully that means I'll see it Monday.

I'm in Irvine, CA and haven't gotten mine yet, I feel your pain : /

Just kind of curious what is going on with shipping.

You guys made an announcement earlier that the books would start shipping on the 23rd of June, but when I look at my order on the website it still says "preparing". I'm not complaining really, I'm just kinda wondering when I should expect to see them.

Hey Guys

It's been a while since I left and then came back, looks like a lot happened while I was gone.

Anyway, for those of you that are interested, I would like to start a DFRPG Play By Post game with any of you that want to join (I'm looking at you, WJM, Chiro, Perseph and anyone else that's still around)

Seeing as how many people attended the Huntington Beach signing I'm really surprised that this thread got zero responses.

Then again, probably 75% of the people I was talking to at the signing have never wandered onto the forums ever.

Considering I was number 734 of pre-orders for the book, I really don't think you can use this as any sort of a barometer what so ever.

"Hey, people aren't on my corner of the internet! That must mean they don't exit."

The internet is a very big place. Hell, I'm a big fan of pen and paper games and this is the first time I've ever heard of this website.

I can't say much for the Changes spoilers but some of the things I've read in the margins have me cocking my head a little.

I just sent out a company wide email to get people interested in starting a campaign! I really don't want to GM, but I have very little choice. Besides, I think it will be more fun to create a world with 4-5 other people, instead of trying to make the whole damn thing myself.

What do I think? I think I won't be getting much sleep in the next few weeks.

Christopher Walken?

Nicodemus. Arthur Langtry. ...

And maybe Mouse's voiceover.

Uh... Walken could be Mac. They could maybe let Mac talk a bit more but still be the mysterious old sometimes insightful bartender.

I'd put John Shea (Lex Luther from Adv. of Lois & Clark) as Marcone.

Even reading the books, he always came to mind for me.

I could definitely see that for him.

I could also see Gabriel Byrne as Marcone, he was the Father in Stigmata.

lawl David Duchovny for Dresden.

Not sure why, he just seems to capture the wit, the playfulness, and the righteous rage.

DF Books / Re: Did you discover the books because of the TV Show?

One of my college professors showed Birds of a Feather to us in class. Shortly after I dove into Storm Front and never looked back.

Since then I've read every single Dresden novel and short story, and the Codex Alera. Can't wait for changes. Overall, after watching the entire TV series, I was slightly disappointed. I'm kind of hoping that Dresden will eventually get the movie presence it deserves.

I will be attending. I should think of a better question to ask him this time than "Who should play Dresden in a Dresden Files movie?"

I felt like a complete noob. His answer of Will Smith confused me even more, but after thinking about it for a while, it kind of made sense, considering the type of character Dresden is, and the types of characters Will Smith has played in the past.
