Eyeball Kid, OZ, and Fleegle -

I'm so excited!! I watched Jim's three hour Q & A from Seattle last night. Wow!

Eyeball, Jim's really good about keeping the Q & A's spoiler free. Only one got through in the Seattle recording.

For Thursday, I plan to head over to the Coach House which is on the Southwest Corner of Indian School and Goldwater Blvd, one block north of the Poisonned Pen on the other side of the street. You are all welcome to pop in! Then I figure to head over to the Poisoned Pen at about six-ish.

I'll be the one who looks like Murphy.  ;)

I'm watching that same video right now! Best camera work I've ever seen for one of these things. I'm trying to tailor my questions accordingly to avoid repetitive asks, but these Seattle fans are really, really nerdy! :)

Through dishonest means, I've already managed to read Skin Game, so I'm ready and set for any spoilers that may drip out during the Q&A. Honestly, I wonder how strict this will be considering we're more than a week past the release date.

I purchased a book over the phone, so I've gotta pick that up as soon as I get there. I'm driving up from Tucson and depending what time I get there, I might stop by Coach House. I'll be the one in the green McAnally's t-shirt.

DF Books / Re: Perfect Casting Part Three

Kristen Bell is just about getting to the perfect age to play Murphy. Oh damn, now I'll never picture anyone other than Kristen Bell as Murphy. This could do some serious damage to my future reading that results in endless giggle fits.

And just because I'm in a Buffy mood...

I think Alexis Denisof, using his "faint British accent", could be a really creepy Nicodemus:

And if not Nic, maybe Kincaid. Or somebody. Because Alexis Denisof is awesome.

Anthony Stewart Head would make an awesome, well, anybody really, but I think he'd be quite good for Vadderung or Langtry.

Thanks for the heads up, meg_evonne! I'm gonna try to get there at least an hour early.

Calendar Event Discussion / Re: Jim at Phoenix ComiCon - June 5-8

I'll be there for Friday and half of Saturday, so I'll be able to make Jim's solo panel! This will be my first con in probably ten years...should be interesting!

I'm heading up from Tucson, as well, and hopefully I'll make it to the Poisoned Pen on Thursday to avoid the long lines for signings at the con. It's gonna be a lot of driving...

I'm going to the signing and possibly getting into Comic-Con, for at least part of Friday and Saturday.

This will be my first signing, so I wonder how I'm going to cope with buying the book 10 days after it's released. Surely people at the signing/con will be asking super-spoilery questions regarding Skin Game. I'm not really in a financial position to buy one copy of the book next week and ANOTHER copy at the signing (since we have to purchase the book to attend). Thoughts, ideas? Whatever-shall-I-do?!
