I was rereading the series and it seems to me that Carlos is no longer Harry's friend. Carlos knows that harry is "working the problem" of the black council from the other side but is constantly suspicious of him. He puts a tracker on harry then gets Harry's only other friends that are wizards to accuse him of being disloyal. The whole time giving the Morgan line if you have nothing to hide let me interrogate you until I believe you. When Harry needs to talk to people to prevent from being thrown out of the council Carlos puts him on a security detail so he can't. And when Harry asks where this is coming from he is told Anastasia. But if he switched sides to team merlin after the beating that Molly gave him it could be part of a plan to isolate harry to either take him off the table for whatever the upcoming starborn event is or to force harry to tow the line for the white council. Either way I expect that it will be Carlos who comes after harry next and will probably be in charge of monitoring harry now that he isn't a wizard anymore. I also expect that Carlos now blames harry for what happened to the other wardens with dracul

Though I have to say that the councils reasoning of we think Harry has been corrupted let's make sure that he only talks to monsters and let's take away our protection so he would have to make deals with them isn't what I would expect from a group of people with thousands of years of experience. It makes more sense if mab was behind it all. She never struck me as someone who shares well

I'm still wondering why Harry didn't just throw the BMW into his house. Then do it again with every new car until the suit was dropped. He could do it under a veil. After 2 or 3 times he might stop saying hebe gebes

all im saying is that he only mumbles Justine and is badly hurt. then they say that his demon might be in control and that he isn't Thomas any more.  That makes me see a sucker punch coming. And maybe Laura is part of it

I have to say i enjoyed it a lot. That being said if there wasn't an other one coming out in 2 months i would be annoyed that this was a set up book.

I like the idea that harry's dad died of natural causes and lea hid him from every one until his powers manifested then tipped off Justin.  Its her and Mab's style to make you get better by putting you in horrible situations over and over again until you can stand on your own two feet or get killed. If its not natural causes then it was probably Justin and he picked Harry up later when he really needed someone and could be molded
