According to the website, 2pm. The website also says: "Line tickets required and available with the purchase of Ghost Story, available July 26th. Presale vouchers and line tickets available June 13th. A limited number of VIP tickets are available for Gives Back members."

This makes me wonder if it will be possible to get a line ticket without a purchase of Ghost Story. My husband and I were planning on going to this event, as Saturday works better for our schedule, but we've already preordered a copy of Ghost Story. So if we'd have to buy another copy of Ghost Story to get a line ticket, we may have to rethink that and see if we can make it on Friday to the event in Ohio (both are about the same distance from us). ... Aaand it looks like the Ohio event now also requires a purchase. Sigh.

In my experience from JB's last appearance, You can still show up and listen to the Q&A free of charge. The line ticket just gives you a spot in line to get books signed. *you can still get in line* without a ticket, but it's the very very back of the line. Expect to be there for a long while if that's the case.

I plan on attending both this signing and the one in Dayton. And I will likely be bringing my son along on Saturday. It would be his first book signing if he comes long.
-
Crash!!! It will be great to see you on Saturday. I'm bringing my older daughter for her first signing, and a friend is bringing her son for his first signing. It's so much fun to bring them into the Dresden fold. :)
I'll be on the lookout for you so maybe we can catch up some. Or, you might see me first - I'll be there with 6 other people and 5 of us will be wearing matching t-shirts. :P

The forum is excellent! I only wish I had as much time to spend here as I used to... I'm way behind on all the theorizing and speculation!
And anyone going to the signing, I'd love to meet you. I'll be with a group of about 5 women/girls, and most of us will be wearing our "Ordo" t-shirts. We'll be fairly loud, too, I'm sure. ;D

I can't guarantee that we'll be brave enough to come up and say "Hey, we're from the forum!" but maybe we'll try! :) Hopefully we'll see you there!

ALWAYS WHEN I'M AT WORK! DAMMIT, JIM! I'm a...guy who works unpredictable schedules...not...a...guy...who gets his book signed apparently.
Oh well. LEXINGTON REPRESENT!
-
I just found the Forum . . . and will be at the event in 90 minutes . . . mind you, I haven't finished reading "Turn Coat" yet . . .
-
I have friends getting my book signed. Least they could do since I loaned it to them so the wait wouldn't be agonizing
-
Woot! Posting from the signing, just got my books signed.
Met booklover and the ladies of the Ordo.
I spoke to one fellow who got the session on video and planned to ask jim when getting his stuff signed
-
Friends got him to sign it for me. Last one was something silly like "Lots of love!" at my friends' instigation, this one was "xoxo." Also at their behest. I think Jim's gonna start disbelieving I'm real. Every time he comes to Lexington some weirdos are getting him to sign this stuff for their constantly absent "friend Tommy."
One year I'm gonna blow his mind and show up.

made it to KY from TN (4hrs+) with 2 other friends Jim was great as always! lots of fun talking with folks got Jim to sign my RPG book Ghost Story and I got Jim to be the first author/person to sign a LARGE wooden sword I have and plan to cover with my favorite author/artists signatures. Then display on my wall. He seemed to really get a kick out of it. Can't wait till the next time :)

For some reason I thought this event was on August 4th. I've been on bed rest due to having my L-5 & L-4 discs removed on July 21nd and just was released to drive Tuesday.

Did you take notes like for the KC signing? I haven't seen any recordings for this one yet. I threw a copy of your KC notes in the old signing notes thread that's now immortalized in the WoJ section.
