Jim and Shannon will be at TusCon (http://www.tusconscificon.com/) in Tucson, AZ, Nov. 12-14, 2010.
Edit: The schedule is up!
-
The web link is for 2009's. Guess we have to stay tuned for the concom to update the darned thing!
David
-
Progress! The link leads to NOTHING now. Apparently they've taken down last year's info.
-
Is this the entirety of the Changes signing tour? I'm surprised Jim is not returning to Chicago.
-
No, there's another thread with the whole schedule, but I think you're right, he's not returning to Chicago this year.
-

No, the link still works, but still shows 2009 info. How far is Tucson from Phoenix?
-
About a 2 hour drive. Not impossible, but I really have no interest in the con other than to see them.
-
The 2010 thread is here (http://www.jimbutcheronline.com/bb/index.php/topic,15372.0.html).
-

Yeah, same way I feel about DragonCon in Atlanta, which is about 7 hours away.
-
I wonder if he's going to be there all three days.
-
I wonder if he's going to be there all three days.
When he goes to cons, he generally stays the full length. I'm confident he will this time.
-
Hmmmm/.. perhaps we can kidnap him for nefarious purposes with general release for his con commitments....
*ponders*
-
Sounds like fun. I'll have to make plans. I agree with you MSD. From the website it sounds like Jim will be the only interesting thing there. Maybe there will be some new author(s) worth checking out. Otherwise I guess I'll just have if Tuscon has any good food. A friend of mine keeps telling me that it has some excellent restaurants but I'm not convinced.
-
The two cons that I have been to and JB has been a guest, he has gone to a dinner with fans on one of the nights!
Someone needs to take charge and round everyone up.
David

Okay, think about that Oz... They live in MO, which isn't that different from IA where I am. If you live in the land of ice, snow, blizzards, etc--would you go for one blasted day? Actually I'm probably going to take my tear drop camper, the dog, and head down myself--unless the winter moves in early over the mountains.

NOw if Meg comes down, THAT would make it a party! I'm in!
-
It that case... smores and discretely wet at my campfire. I've checked out the Tuscon camping locations and found one that I liked.... So long as you don't get me kicked out or if you do, you have to help me pack up camp and locate a new place :-)
Seriously--hot dogs/burgers maybe? I'll check on the alcohol restrictions.
-
I think Honey might be willing to part with some sirloin burgers, which are totally delish, but if the party is small enough, we might be able to bring a special surprise! *waggles eyebrows*
Think Jim and Shannon might be in for a couple of yarns around the campfire?
-
I wouldn't presume to know anything about Jim or Shannon's preferences but it sounds like fun to me. Good food and good conversation are hard to beat. The city of Tuscon is a bit drab but it is surrounded by some beautiful country. I wasn't thinking about the weather. If it's not raining, it should be nice that time of year. Tucson is a few degrees cooler than Phoenix but not that much.
-
I live a little outside of Tucson. Not the best place in the world, but not bad. It has a couple of food choices that are pretty good. Lindeys on 4th has some pretty good burgers. It was recently on Man vs Food, a cool tiny little place to eat if your not worried about having one of your arteries clog half way through the burger challenge.
-
thanks goatdancer! Much easier to head out to eat than to cook.
-
no problem, I am more then happy to answer any Tucson related questions to the best of my ability for those coming in from out of town or help out if I can.
-
Cool! Are you going to Tuscon, goatdancer?
-
Yep, I will be here. I drive into Tucson for work anyway, can't pass up a chance to see Jim if he is this close!
-
Cool! New friends unmet!
-
I'll be flying downa dn staying at the hotel. Closest hes gonna get to Denver, so I'm not missing out.
-
Hello All,
I'm Brian Gross and I'm handling the TusCon website and emails. We're glad Jim's appearance at TusCon is something you're interested in! Please use the TusCon email address ( basfa@earthlink.net ) if you have any questions about TusCon, or about greater Tucson, and I'll do my best to get you answers. (BASFA is the parent org that runs TusCon)
Just a few things from previous posts:
1. Yes, TusCon has some great restaurants! Let me know if you need info on specific ones, or if you are looking for some for a specific type of food.
2. The weather in Tucson is usually pretty nice around this date - normally in 70's during the day and 50's at night.
3. There are some great attractions in Tucson, besides TusCon of course. There's the Pima Air and Space Museum (it's listed as the #6 best aviation museum in the US), plus it's associated Titan Missile Museum and the AMARC (the 2nd largest Air Force "bone yard" for stored aircraft -- tours are available). There's also the excellent Arizona-Sonora Desert Museum. Let me know if you need more info.
4. Please check the website ( http://tusconscificon.com/ ) -- I just updated it with the confirmed participants (so far). I'll have the prelim schedule up there probably by the end of the August or early September (this mostly depends on participants getting back to us sooner, so we can start putting them into programming slots).
So let me know if you have questions. Thanks!
Brian
-
Awesome, Brian! Thanks!
-
You're quite welcome!
Also (digging her elbow out of my ribs), I forgot to mention that my wife is handling Programming at TusCon this year. She plans a strong track of panels on Paranormal Romance writing, both because Shannon will be here and because Tucson has one of the strongest RWA (Romance Writers of America) chapters east of San Diego.

-
In like flynn!!!!
Got my room reserved and flight payed.
-

-
Does anyone know about transportation between the airport to the hotel?
Trying to get all my ducks in a row! OPPS! I mean sparrows in a row!
David
-
I read that the hotel does have an airport shuttle
-
I can confirm the airport shuttle too. And MSD---arghh, no I haven't called yet. I will... tomorrow. promise. I have the info on the bills to be paid skewer on my desk....
-
You'd better remember! Or I'm going to get stuck sleeping in an easy chair. Don't think I can't! ;) :D
-
Well, I am 90% certain I am a go!
Just need to check with the wife to see if nothing is doing that weekend, is one of her 9/80 weekends.
David
-
Well, I signed up on the board specifically for the purpose to let folks know about Tucson if they need any assistance or advice. I will be driving down and staying with friends about 5 minutes away from the convention center. Can't wait to start meeting fans of Jim Butcher that I didn't introduce to Dresden Files first!
-
The hotels web site is down! and they do not know when it is going to be up.
Maybe the con person can find out does the hotel pick up at the Amtrak station?
David
-
I am going to the event and hope Jim and Shannon will setup and present his Dresden role playing game...it looks great and hope to have it and ready to play before then
-

Jim really doesn't do that; the RPG is Iago's baby. Jim's said more than once that he won't play the game "because if I'm GM, it'll feel too much like work, and if I'm a player, I KNOW I'll get into arguments; 'Look, I know it's that way and I'll put it in the next book if I have to!'" :D
-
LOL :D
-
would Iago be going? hint hint
-
Well I am going, arriving by train at 1am Thursday! That is Wednesday night.
David
-
Awesome.. Schedule is up!!!
-
About time :P
-
Just studied the schedule looks like the Butcher's are going to be busy little bees at this con. I'm more stoked than I was a few minutes ago. :D:D:D:D
-
I have a sneaking suspicion that this:
6:00 St. Augustine: Urban fantasy vs. paranormal romance: Whose genre is it, anyway? J.Butcher, S.Butcher,
will be worth the price of admission alone....
-

Jim and Shannon on the same panel. THERE MUST BE VIDEO. I COMMAND IT.
-
I'll bring a video camera. Maybe even a tripod for extra stability lol.
-
Jim and Shannon on the same panel.
TWICE
-
Can ai has nov 12 nao?
-
Video is a MUST, please! If I get down there at all it will be for Saturday. I have to work Friday and then go to my Nephew's wedding Friday night.
Stoopid kid. >:(

Doesn't he know what priorities are?!?! Jim first, get married later! :D
-
I know, right!
-
I need to figure how big of a memory card I need to record a whole hour. I think it's been about 12 minutes per gig. I'm thinking at least a sixteen gig then, because I'm bringing my computer on Saturday so I can upload between panels. :D

the fate of the world lie in your hands. you must not fail.

He says, "Just because your name's Occam doesn't mean you should worry."
-
rofl, very nice. I'm just worried about getting hacked in twain.
-
I'd loan you mine but... you know... I'm not going to be there.... :-\ :'(
-
It's okay. I need an excuse to get a bigger one. my 1 gig just ain't cutting it anymore.
-
Caveman! You only have a 1 gig!?
-
And a 10 mega pixel camera. Please do that math.
-
Can you even fit one picture on the card??
-
I <3 my camera. 12x optical zoom, 12.1 megapixels. Can get about 20-30 min of HD video on a 2GB card. About 600 HD pics, no vid.
-
Can you even fit one picture on the card??
Most times I have it turned down to 6MP and can get ~100.
-
And a 10 mega pixel camera. Please do that math.
My camera is 6MP. B/f did a lot of research into cameras before picking one out, and asked his uncle who does a lot with cameras and stuff, and said that unless you're blowing the pictures up to poster size, you really don't need much more than 6. I see little difference between the 6MP DSLR Nikon and the point and shoot 10MP Canon. Except max resolution--Nikon goes higher.
-
My experience is that those bloody cards are so easy to loose I keep a large stash of 1 gigs specifically because hey won't hold everything, and if I go on a trip or something I will defenitly have to swap them out a few times. Comes in handy when that murphionic field jumps up and steals or wipes one out before I get home....... I only lose a few pics instead of them all.
SO if you need I'll grab a close seat and start feeding you cards when you need them. ;D
Any dinner outings or bar gatherings planned?
-
What I'm planning on is having one card that will hold one panel and bring my laptop along and transfer the footage immediately after.
-
That sounds like a good system, Pech.
Me, I tend to just forget my camera. Transfer/loss problem solved! :D
-
Yeah, can't do that...I think people will stone me if I do.
-
*chambers a round* Stone? no.
-
*snickers*
-
Shooting? You mean there's the option to get shot? I'll take it!
-
Shooting? You mean there's the option to get shot? I'll take it!
no you wouldn't like shooting. I have a VERY big bore rifle I'm compensating you see :D
-
Star must be so happy ;)
-
Hey, leave me outta this.
-
That's not any fun though :P
-
For you, maybe. :P
-
:D
He opened the door *points*
-
Hey Buddy I was just making conversation. Nothing to see here. These are not the droids you are looking for. Move along
-
I was looking for droids...*shrug* Alright then I'll just move along.
-
yeah thats right! tell yer story walking bub ! :P he he
-
You're so mean to me :'(
-
I got nuttin but luv for ya baby. Yeah that's right I went old Skool wit it.
-
So whom lives in the area?
I need a few directions and the like for places to eat that are close by. (walking distance as I'm flying in and shuttling to the hotel)
There's no way I'm spending the whole weekend there eating the onsite food and not venturing out in search of a good taco stand.
Plus I want to hit up a grocery store for a few fourth meal supplies for a weekend camping out in a hotel. hehe.
-
I second that!
David
-
Exactly one week from right now I am going to be sitting in a hotel room... remembering that at the lower elevation it is going to cost me a whole lot more in beer to get a buzz. ;D
I can't wait. They don't let me out much.
-
LOL :D
-
In checking Google maps I find a Safeway with in 3 miles of the hotel.
David
-
Yep, downt he road just before the hospital. Theres also a handfull of restaurants to the north of the hotel kinda spread out a bit.
-
And there is a Fry's food store 1.9 miles the other way on Grant.
David
-

I'd suggest that safeway over the Fry's,
Unfortunately there's not a whole lot near the con itself. Although I'm not generally in that area.

Hey, At this point anything helps. As of right now we are navigating on what we can find on google maps, yellowbook and any other local travel reviews we can find.
-
BJ's is a good place. Good food, good beer. There are two, and I honestly don't which is closer, one's on Oracle (a road to be avoided if possible) and another on Broadway. I don't mind Broadway, it's good for a major road.
I honestly wish I knew the area around the con better but I never go over there.
-
one's on Oracle (a road to be avoided if possible)
In what context should it be avoidied?
Far too many potholes for non 4x4's?
Or is it a safety in numbers if your low on ammo kind of place?
-

It's an "Oh my god will we ever get through this light. Then if we somehow manage to get through this light how on Earth will we ever get through the next one...and the next one and the next -- You know what? I'm just gonna kill myself now" type road.
-
ahha. Wont be a problem then. I'll be traveling by foot everywhere. ;)
-
Well in that case you just won't get there, like I said it's quite a ways away from the con.
-
I haz a very sad...
Youngest's state competition for competitive cheer is Saturday. Even if it gets done before two, I really don't think I'll be up to driving down to Tucson after the wedding Friday night and being up at the buttcrack of dawn to get youngest there.
:'(
ENJ - video, or I will hunt you down, do you hear?? ;) :D
-
*points to camera and 16 gig memory card*
You're not the only one, I'll record like the forces of hell are on my heels.
-
Psst...That's cause they are.
Tehe.
-
And your Whingnut is leading the charge :P

not so much LEADING as pushing them all along in an orderly fashion :)
-

You can't blame me for that one. He's got a mind of his own. And he uses it, sometimes, too. ;D

Soon, soon, soon! Let the festivities begin!

I hope you all have a great time. I also hope for his sake Enj tapes tha panel
-
I'm taping all of them I think.
-
I'm taping all of them I think.
Just get Jim and Shannon and all will be well. If I get my camera in time I will try to get the panel from Marscon if not I'm sure one of the rest of us will get it.
-
Where's the fun in that?
Oh, I don't know... that can be a special kind of fun all it's own! *evil grin*
-
Hey all!
First post, but I just wanted to drop a note and say if there's anyone heading to the con who is still looking for a place to satay, and doesn't mind overly-friendly dogs, then I have a couch with your name on it!
Also, anyone needing help with suggestions on places to eat, get coffee that doesn't taste like day old mop water, or find halfway decent beer. Cause there's places to find those things here in Tucson. I swear.
...no, really. There's civilization here: we have indoor plumbing, paved roads. Wal-mart.
-
But is there a Starbucks? :D
-
Starbucks? What is this 'star bucks' you speak of...?
Yeah, no, we've got one on every block just like everyone else.
-

Wait...why don't I have indoor plumbing then?!
-
Because you are a starving college student. They don't expect you to be out of diapers yet. ;)

Grad school. :D
-
Heh...grad school will pay my tuition, housing, and a stipend...I'll be rich :D :D :D :D
-
Yeah, I didn't say EVERYONE has indoor plumbing, just that it does, in fact, EXIST here.
-
I've yet to see it :P

close enough.
Buh-buh-bacaw!
-
Yes, I am afraid of my wife! And yes I am a kept man! And I love it!
David
-
but never forget... Behind every good Man, is a Woman, rolling her eyes. ::)
;D
-
That is so True!
David
-
I am here at the hotel and have found a great meeting place. It is close to the meeting rooms and dealers room etc etc.
It is in the shallow end of the pool area. There are cabana's and chairs and best of all shade.
David
-
Shade? Shade?!
Why would you want shade on a day like today it's FREEZING out there! (says the local, to whom this is unseasonably cool weather) ;)
-
Because under the shade the day is damn near perfect today :D
-
I got the video. So put down your guns and bullets and stones and axes.
It was entertaining but there was no coherency, because it turned into a Q&A after the second question.
Although Jim's answer to the difference between Paranormal Romance and Urban Fantasy was summed up thus:
More Orgasms
-
Awesome...
So where's the video posted?? *cracks whip* ;) :D
-
It was entertaining but there was no coherency, because it turned into a Q&A after the second question.
Yeah that was kinda sucky. But as you said, still entertaining.
Nice and intemate in the small room with ony 40 chairs though. have a feeling the next few today that happen in there rather then the copper are REALLY gonna be full.
-
It's over a gig and a half, my camera is bizarre when it comes to taking video. I need to figure out how to cut it apart and put it on youtube.
Oh yeah it'll be crowded, especially at the special guest hour.

-

I dun wanna!
-
I dunno, I kind of liked that it devolved into a Q&A since the stated topic....was....yeah. Tidily summed up by 'more orgasms'.
-
Thanks for taking video, looking forward to seeing it. I'm in Tucson, but the fee for the Con was beyond my budget for this year.

Doesn't Windows 7 come with a video editor? A quick googling reveals a product called "Windows Live Movie Maker" that I'm guessing comes standard with new machines.
-

Not standard it's part of the free Windows Live Suite has all sorts of junk in it, but you have to download it from Microsoft Updates as I recall. I picked and chose the components to install sadly that wasn't one of them.To be more clear I chose not to install it but it was one of the options. I'd use the Macbook for video editing if I ever did any.
-
I dunno, I don't put much on my laptop, it's pretty much designated for writing and schoolwork.
I'm sure it's not hard to do it, I just need to find something to do it and learn how. Once I finish my Alera Fic, it's going to be my first prority.
-
I'll try to remember to poke around in the morning to find an innocuous little video editor I',m sure theres a free one out there.
-
I'm sure, i could probably get my hands on my friends super duper fancy editor and do the entire thing and make it look like a comic book but...I'll pass.
-
I'd have just directed you to a little nothing prog to break it into smaller chunks honestly.
-
That's what I'm going to do, but I could be fancy if I wanted to lol.
-
don't need fancy just need in focus son !
-
*taps feet*
Not that I'm impatient or anything.... but I am sick in bed with nothing to do, waiting..... waiting....
;) :D
-
*joins MSD in the foot tapping* ;D
-
*throws video at you both*
You cut it up and put it on Youtube! :-P~~~~~~
-
*straps Enj to chair with laptop* Okay, bud. You're riding shotgun until you finish. And when I say riding shotgun, I mean... *loads shotgun, holds it to the back of Enj's head*
-
Okay, free video editing software that can do this. Anyone have any recommendations?
-
I'd just hit up cent can usually get a free something or another that will do what ya need and that can be easily removed when you are done.
-
Try googling "best free video editor" from the past year. I'm getting a lot of promising results.

And by cent, I'm pretty sure he means cnet.

I found my windows live video editor, now I'm trying to chunk it down. Be patient people or I'll keep it for myself ;D

I am actually on youtube with a search for "Jim Butcher" (in quotes) sorted by upload date, and mashing refresh over and over.

I can and will take away your pizza.

She'll do it, too. I've seen it. It's not pretty. She removes it AFTER you've eaten it. On the plus side, you'll never feel uncomfortably full again.

Back to video editing you! :D

I'm trying, but I have no clue what I'm doing. I've split the video into 6 different parts and am now trying to figure out how to save them to different files. If I can.

Nah. You wrote too good a fic for me to do that just yet. ;)
-
Stop distracting Enj, he has important work that needs to be done :)
-
You better hurry, Enj. Magnus will bite you. :P
-
Oy! Patience!
-
Good lord...you'd think I was decrypting the secret to making money.
Sheesh, it would have been a better panel but it turned into a Q&A pretty quickly.
-
I will do no such thing, I just meant to say if the others stopped distracting him, he would be done faster. And I have patience I was watching the topic the other day but I didn't say anything until now ;)
Let it take the time it takes as long as that time is shorter than a week:p.
And Priscellie you sound like Donna right now.
EDIT TO ADD:
(Well hopefully there are some new questions and answers ^^ )
-
:D I'm not even sure what everyone's actually talking about.
-
What I've told everyone who wasn't there to listen to the panels it seemed that a lot of the smaller authors were kind of bullying Jim and Shannon by talking over them and talking for much longer. Kind of drove me nuts personally.
-

I don't know that it was their "bullying" Jim and Shannon so much as Jim and Shannon being polite and non-pushy (no, I didn't see it personally, but I've seen them and it seems consistent with their personalities). I may very easily be wrong on this.
-
I'm being super patient now, as I would have no flipping clue how to upload/download, split watchamacallit video.
;D
-
Video? I still watch slide shows.

Not this one specifically but one of them on "creating fan bases" actually did cut Shannon off or would come in right on her heels. It actually drove me nuts to the point that I won't buy/read anything of her's. Can't remember her name but I'd know it if I saw it.

I dont think tha was true. They are just such cool easy going people that it was just polite of them to let the others speak. But I didn't se them get interupted or anything when they were talking.
side note... I had to work REALLY hard not to gush and geek out, But a mere hour or two before I had to leave for the airport I got to sit down with Jim in the lounge and chat for a few in the bar. (30-45 min)
Then share the shuttle ride to the airport with Shannon and Jim.
They really are some of the kindest people I have met.

I'd leave it that way in text, Jim doesn't like mud slinging of other authors here.
-
addition to the fan base though... I do agree that thre were a few times taht the conversations and comments were going and one would jsut barley have stopped speaking when antoher would jump right in and all but cut the other person off. But I think I remember it happening to more of them then just Shannon.
But the vidoe will prove me wrong if I am.

Thanks, Enj. Yeah, let's leave unkind remarks about other authors off this board. Heck, it's possible that the author isn't used to speaking in front of crowds, and didn't mean to be rude. Panels can be really exciting, both for fans and authors. Maybe she just got a bit over-excited. :D

I can keep my mouth shut every once and a while. It's possible. I swear!

Don't have video for that one, but it was the same author who did it more than once. But you're right, it wasn't just Shannon she cut off, she also did it with Sam Skyes.

Fullest this room got the entire weekend.

Last day chilling in the Luange and Jim took time to discuss his writing methods with interested fans.

Holy crap, I was sitting right next to you the entire time. You lied to me and told me you didn't have a camera :P
-
Sam Skyes.
Sam was Helarious!
He came up and shook my hand before I left for the airport and wished me good luck on my project. I must have been pretty transparent cause I didn't do or say anything in any of the panels he was in. ???
-
I ran into Sam in the dealers room after the "Hurray you just got published, now what?" panel. His snark was almost as strong as Jim's.
-
Holy crap, I was sitting right next to you the entire time. You lied to me and told me you didn't have a camera :P
ROFLOL!!! WOW!
that is too freaking funny.
So am I still taking photos of Storm Front all highlighted or just scanning it in for your pal? (I'm assuming he's with you)
camera? what camera?
-
Oh no, those were the two guys and the girl that weren't either of us...but I'll take a copy since you're scanning it. Email is in the profile.
-
*raises eyebrow* What's going on now?
-
Jim was talking to us about the scene and sequel technique. KW went through StF and highlighed each of the scenes and it's sequel and offered to send us some scans of some of the pages.
Nothing illegal I swear!

I think this thread turned into the rear parking lot of a seedy hotel. :P

Hmm. As long as it's only a small number of pages. Duplication of copyrighted material is sketchy business, but as long as it's kept solidly in the realm of fair use, all is shiny.
Also, that sounds really interesting, and I'd love to see more of what you're talking about. :D

*raises eyebrow* What's going on now?
Assuming you are inquiring to the comments about a highlighted copy of strom front being scanned in....
Enj and I were both sitting in the Lounge when the guys in the picture wiht Jim were asking for an explination to some of the technics on his blog. When the subject of scene writing came up (Scene sequel) I made the comment to the guys (and Gal there) that if thye take any one of Jims books, 4 highlighters and follow the processn you can break down the system and formula he uses to build his scenes and write all of his books.
I came up with the idea about six months ago to help myself in learning and did this to a fresh copy of Storm Front.
-
*cowers in fear of "The Eyebrow"*
And I didn't even do anything!
-
I'd like to know if that's a genetic thing, somehow. Like rolling your tongue. Because I can't move my eyebrows independently.
-
*cowers in fear of "The Eyebrow"*
I have seen the eyebrow up close. you are all right to fear it. My hair was black before I saw it and NOW look at me ! <-------

That's a really cool idea. Especially cause that's the one thing that always kinda went over my head.
-
Mine too, and I've tried the technique.
-
Ok I'm gonna work on recreating what I was talking about in word so I can post up a scene or two. Then it's up to you to take it furthur with highlighters and text if you wnat. Soon as I have it done I'll post it here, and in author crafft.
-
Even though I WAS there Enj, I'm eyeballing my loading bench with you in mind.......
-
Enjorous, if you were the guy getting the visual of Jim's story arc, I was the guy in black sitting next to you.
Too bad I hadn't shown up here before.

My wife & I had a great time at TusCon and totally geeked out! Wanted to take a moment and thank Jim & Shannon for coming to podunk Tucson. Thank you guys so much!!! We had a great time on Friday, and were seriously contemplating calling in sick to work, to go the whole weekend.
I've met numerous rich & famous people, but none have left me as speechless, and nerdy feeling, as meeting one of my favorite authors! My wife and I went and ordered a pizza from the extremely busy and understaffed lounge. While we were waiting for our food I noticed Jim & Shannon walk in and get in line for food, 30 minutes before they were scheduled to talk! As we had already been waiting 15 minutes for our food. I walked over and offered to share with the Butcher's, so they could eat and still make it in time to talk. Jim politely refused, but I had never been so happy to get turned down on an offer of free food before! The only thing I could think to say after he thanked me for the offer was, "I love your books!" Not quite the articulate response I was planning for a meeting with a favorite author! I never truly realized how big a nerd I was till that moment. Thanks again for the great time! :)

I dunno, I don't put much on my laptop, it's pretty much designated for writing and schoolwork.
I'm sure it's not hard to do it, I just need to find something to do it and learn how. Once I finish my Alera Fic, it's going to be my first prority.
[emote]Looks at Enjorous significantly[/emote]

Probably. But it's at least something he can recover from.

I'm trying to get it done, but finals, recitations, translations, papers, tests, get the idea?

Well let's see if he can upload them before he bescomes mostly dead. <eg>
-
That's the problem. I should have uploaded them from school. My home internet is less than stellar. We'll see how this goes.
-
Heh, I know how that goes. Just select em to upload at night when you sleep.
-
Yeah I have 5 clips that I had to split then copy and paste them. Windows movie maker doesn't like multiple files open at once. I have my laptop uploading them right now.

YAY!!

1&2 are the same thing.
...Well crap! I don't know what happened, I previewed it before I uploaded. Dammit!
-
no no , there're 2 different vids! I know I watched them!
ahh why'd you remove it, it was fine!
-
Because I watched them and they were nigh on the same thing. The second one just had about 20 extra seconds at the end.
I'm uploading the real second one now.
-
huh , I could've sworn I watched two different vids!well that's sad if I can't tell them apart.
-
Well they both started out with the guy whose name I can't remember "Well I'll take the easy moderator job."
-
Second video is now up and correct!
-
nope, seen that one already. I still think you must've needlessly changed the vid.
-
Well then...I blame Serack! ;) :P
-
Three is up! Starting 4.
-
. this is my fav xmas present!
-
Well Merry Christmas IC!
-
Yes, excellent Christmas Present! Thanks Enjorous!
Anyone know what Jim was saying @ ~2:27 of the 2nd vid?
-
No idea, because it's marked private and I can't see it. >:(
-
Yeah I don't know why it's doing that.
Serack lemme look at it I might remember.
-
No idea, because it's marked private and I can't see it.
If you scroll down the page to recent activity, the Jim Butcher vids are listed. That's how I accessed them even though the list is private.

Thanks enj
To those having trouble with the private vid's issue, do my links at the bottom of the interview list (http://www.jimbutcheronline.com/bb/index.php/topic,21772.msg947671.html#msg947671) work?

It must, unless there's a separate control for the privacy option than under page settings.
