Just as a FYI, Chrome has thrown up a big do not enter for me on the Food! thread under Advice Column.  It's saying that a link on it has been hacked and has malware onsite.  It's a link from Familynutrition.com.  Just thought I'd post as a warning.

I have no idea if this is workable or not, but is there any way to make a popup when a mod makes a new entry in the announcements area?  Or maybe have some sort of user wide PM go out to let people know there is something to read.  I know most of the time I pop straight into Mac's and don't always notice the new message in topic flag on the main page.  I was just wondering because I thought it might help cut down on people not knowing about updates to the rules of the board.
