I'm listening to the podcast, and I'm getting to the book part.

My 2 cents:

I read Dead Beat first.  And I enjoyed the hell out of it.  Of course, I didn't know what everything was, but it was still a fun read.  This summer, I went back to read the series, starting with Storm Front and then going through the rest, in order (unless, I guess, you count the short stories, which were sort of in order for me, sort of not I guess, err... I don't know, whatever, they were fun.)

Anyway, I finished PG and the Something Borrowed recently.  I also re-read DB, and that was still pretty fun.

But I see what you're doing in the podcast.  And it's a good idea.  Especially with the series coming out in a few days.

Well, I guess that takes care of that for me.  Thanks  :)

Wow guys, thanks a lot for your posts.  I really appreciate them.

D&D and FATE are drastically different systems, and I've noticed that learning one can make it a bit harder to learn the other, especially for people who are new to pen and paper.

I was kinda worried about that, so I might hang off of D&D for a while.  I'll probably check out FATE or just wait for TDF.

It's supposed to come out this year, inn't?

A Dresden Files GN would probably work quite well.

And not that he needs it or anything, but it would really give Jim a chance to work on dialogue, which would really play in well with the series.

Well, at least not that I remember (much of)...

But I've played some video game RPGs before.  Should The Dresden Files be easy to get into for me, or is there a learning curve?

(I've thought about getting into D&D lately, but I'm thinking about just waiting for the The Dresden Files.  Two different and new systems might be kind of confusing.)

According to my profile, I registered way back in September and never posted.

Now, it's possible I did and forgot.  But then again, I just registered today.  So... is this a common occurrence?  Or did I somehow sabotage someone's account?
