Are there even fewer signing appearances than Turn Coat?

I know Bookie will be crushed that there is no Chicago. Anyone have any ideas on why he is doing the launch in Houston?

Oh well, I enjoyed the time I got to spend with Mr. Butcher at ConDFW last year. (Despite the fact that I probably gave several board members and Mr. Butcher strep throat...)

I got to see him last time in KY but I still went to Youtube and watched every video. I saw a lot of the same questions asked
'BUT' in every video we got another scrap of info by clever fans asking the right questions that see stuff the rest of us (or just myself) missed

and lets face it this time will have a lot of stuff with Changes/Side Jobs/Codex ending/another 10+ Dresden books and a new series I think...,WHEW!!! talk job job security!!!

Dragon Con still a definate possible maybe lol :-\

He was in Philly in '07, and he'll be coming to NYCC this fall. Not Baltimore, I know, but might be worth a roadtrip.

I was thinking more on the order of a Sue replica skull. Not that I am going to be anywhere in the northern hemisphere soon but it is a thought. Pity his schedule and travel time conflicts, Worldcon 68/Aussiecon 4 would be a googlplex of awesome.

Totally looking forward to it as it will be my second time seeing Jim in person (first was fencon in Dallas about 4-5 years back). Honestly one of the nicest guys in person I have ever met. You can tell a lot about a person in how they treat their fans.

I've been checking the website for MarsCON (http://www.marscon.net (http://www.marscon.net)) and wanted to say/ask two things...

I noticed that MarsCON is listed as January 14-16.

Second, the questions: Does anyone know the format of MarsCON? Its a 3 day show, will Jim and Shannon be there all weekend? Will they have a booth(s)? Will he be doing panels/Q&A's?

I could contact the event staff and try to find out, but I thought someone on here might have already gone a previous year or have insider knowledge... or we could be graced with the WoJ himself.

They will be doing panels and an autograph session. But hopefully what they will be doing is enjoying themselves and visiting with the fans. MarsCon 2010 Chairman and MarsCon 2011 Entertainment Chairman.
