Was Cristos his apprentice though?  I don't remember reading anything about that.

If it was the Ramps who cursed the gift.  Personally, I don't' believe that Bianca knew the Athame was tainted.

Wasn't there a WoJ that said Bianca's gifts were to the people she considered her enemies?  I'd have to go hunting for it, it's the ghost of a glimmer of a hazy remembrance.

If I'm wrong, then you make a good point.  I didn't even think of that.

Michael still has connections. But I agree, he's out now.

Connections with a strict "hands off" policy when it comes to mortals and from what we've seen a "defensive actions" policy for the supernatural.

Personally I cannot WAIT to see Molly "come out" to her parents.  Hopefully it will be in Peace Talks.

And Michael?  I can see him laying Harry out at the very least.  You need to remember he's out of the game now, though, so I don't think Lea's going to be too worried.

Why get a fancy spear or sword when he has a perfectly serviceable club on hand that can fire ice bullets?  Swords are for the Jackson Pollocks of the magic world.  Harry is a gorilla with finger paints.

Peitrovich was considered the Red Court Expert, so the way I read it was the Archangel garrison was made up of the vampire specialists.  Wardens are your general purpose enforcers, the Brute Squad (such as it were) target specific threats.

Which would make their elimination at the outset of the war the absolute catastrophe it was.

I'm sure Mab has a creature in her service that could provide something for Sir Harry...

And have Harry go even deeper in her debt?

No seriously though, Harry hates working for Mab as it is, and he isn't PAID for his duties as the Knight.  If he wants help, HE'S the one who has to pay for it.

It is believed the gift to the dragon was tainted, similar to the athame. If added to the treasure hoard, could it alter the curse on it?

Only if Bianca had a death wish (I know I know, but pretend she didn't expect to die via Harrybomb).  Ferro is a Dragon, capital "D", remember?  As in Immortal Force of Nature On Par With Mab.  And Ferro is quite a bit more direct than Mab.  I'm pretty sure if the ramps had been dumb enough to curse his gift, he would have wiped them out for the insult.

If all went according to plan, he moved in today.  That puts his schedule (if I remember right) on a finished manuscript by Thanksgiving and a tentative release next spring.  I'm willing to wait.  Are you?

As to Priscilla, she normally is pretty level-headed, but she's also more active with the fandom than Jim himself is, and from what I've seen perceived insults against him are a bit of a trigger with her.  Let the man write and nobody gets hurt.

Mac is a guy, nothing he's done has shown he's more than a normal guy.  And he's Out.

We were told in a WoJ that the current Mab is the second Mab.

He'll have to expand on that then as to whether one of the previous Queens was named Mab, because he went on to say that Mab started as the Lady and the previous Queens died which is when the current Mab ascended, and the mantle made her the frigid b**** we all know and fear.

Also, one of Mother Winter's mantles is definitely the Baba Yaga, who does have iron teeth. And also 2 sisters in some versions. If you look at Vadderung and the things he can/cannot do in each mantle, it is possible that Mother Winter can only wear the iron teeth when she is using that mantle in particular.

Which brings me back to my question: if Mab is Mother Winter's actual daughter (as said my Mama Summer in SK), who's the poor dumb sop that got it on with Baba Yaga?

Anyway, I love the Pendragon Cycle from Stephen Lawhead, and he incorporates the Sidhe and Atlantis into Arthur's story, fascinating read.  He also talks about (it's been a couple years, I need to go back and reread) like six or seven tribes of the Sidhe, but we've only seen Summer and Winter, plus associated Wyld.  Where did they all go?  If this theory is close, maybe the Sidhe Wars took place just before the changing of the guard?  Sort of like a Battle Royal to see who's tough enough to take over?

You know, I never actually made that connection. Reuel is basically Tolkien in the Dresdenverse (although the actual Tolkien may be a different guy). Uriel specifically leaves a LOTR book out for Dresden in SmF. If Reuel is actually Tolkien...well, I don't know where to go with that but it's really neat.

WoJ is that Reuel is not JRR Tolkien, he was named for him.

Fascinating theory, Serack.

Author Craft / Re: Has Jim ever released any of his working notes?

No and No.  He said in an interview that he basically builds a DnD profile whenever he introduces a character.  I'd love to see those profiles.

Consider adding Sarissa as a "Known acquaintence."
