How does a character actually uses the red courts belly catch against a Red Court Vamp in game.
Just saying" I shoot his belly" seems way too easy.
Creating an advantage against the vamp saying "aiming for the belly" before attacking? Or some other weakness that suggests it's vulnerable belly?
How have people generally handled this in their vames

Use a maneuver to expose the belly then tag it for effect when you attack
-
You could also try some kind of "critical hit" thing, like "any attack which hits by a margin of 4+, made by someone who knows about the weakness" or "any attack which rolls at least three +s on the attack roll".
That kind of thing doesn't play super nicely with the Catch cost formula, but that formula is an imperfect guideline anyway.

Maneuvers or, if they already know Red Court weaknesses, I'll let them use a fate point to invoke the Red Court's aspects to satisfy the catch.
-
Is the catch that the belly is more vulnerable, or that once the blood's spilled out of it the RCV is weaker?
-
Both. The belly is a catch that, when targetted, nullifies their toughness powers.
And once it's pierced, they can lose access to their other powers as a compel.
