When mab changed at harry's party, that was a great scene. We are going to be picking that party apart for clues for a long time. I like the idea that blood contains iron so no blood must be spilled. I also think we saw another aspect of mab, maybe even another mantle and that is as a judge of some type. We see the same look when she is summoned to demonreach by harry and maeve knows she is doomed when her mother appears. Maeve even says she knows she has been judged, sorry paraphrasing some there i believe i have it correctly. Winter law is harsh, the rule of not spilling blood at a courtly function is one i have heard of before, so i can believe it is just that a rule of courtesy, but as anything jim writes there are many interpretations and we may well look at it near the end of the series and see it as a huge clue, perhaps to nemesis infection, perhaps not. If it takes a blood ritual, perhaps drinking, i could see what the vampire courts would show the first signs, and it might even pave the way for people to be born infected. Kinda headed into left field with this so i am goin to stop there. The way jim writes though it would not surprise me to see the no bloodshed rules as being both a common courtesy as well as prevention of nemesis infection in one clue.
Which begs the question: What is fae blood made of, and what does it look like?  Or is hemoglobin too diluted of iron to serve as kryptonite for fae?

Eh.... that's very, very thin.

If you are to create a poll, be sure to include an option for "None of the Above".  The world is large enough that I'm sure there are players in the game that Harry has not met yet.

Unlikely on both counts, IMO, because the world is not that small.  Elaine is most likely not the only practitioner of "delicate", "intricate", and "graceful" magic out there, plus we've seen nothing from Elaine that indicates that she's any great shakes at crafting enchantments or that she'd be okay with making a love spell belt (especially since she would have just come off from recovering from her mental trauma from Justin's enthrallment).  Likewise with Luccio, I'm going to go out on a limb here and say that pre-body swap Luccio was not the only tough old bird in the White Council, let alone the world.  Plus, you would think that Harry, who by SF would still be living under the threat of death by a Warden's sword, at any moment, would be able to recognize what their leader looked like.

As for the events of SmF, we know that by then Luccio had been compromised... by Peabody's mind whammy, alongside the entire Senior Council and a good half of the Wardens.  After all, it was in SmF that she started putting the moves on Harry, which at the time seemed pretty out of the blue but we now know to have been due to Peabody's influence.  Whether or not Mab sicced hobs on her because she knew Luccio had been compromised by somebody under Outsider influence is anyone's guess, but I will say that the information she gave us on the Archive actually made more sense than "The Archive is the Archive starting from birth", which you'd think would turn vessels of the Archive into raving loons 100% of the time.

We know Harry will do his damnedest not to act on those impulses. But as Winter Lady, Molly is now in a position to compel Harry to do the "deed" (at least when he's under the influence of Winter). Given how she feels it will be interesting to see how she grapples with having that option.
Or in other words, "Does Molly value Harry's friendship over being able to have sex with him"?

I just hope that she sees what's wrong in raping her family's friend.
