DFRPG / possible jade court game
« on: February 13, 2011, 03:50:40 AM »
So the other night I was watching supernatural, and the baddie was something called an arachne. it sort of split the difference between a vampire and spider. while a spider would paralyze food for its young to feed on once they hatched, this thing reproduced like a vampire so the paralyzed food became the new arachne. this got me thinking along the lines of hopping spiders=hopping vampires and chinese silk=spider silk and anyway, I was wondering if anyone might have any plot ideas for a game involving chinese spider vamps?

DFRPG / Stating a wizard's temper
« on: December 22, 2010, 03:24:00 AM »
How would I go about building in a "okay, NOW I'm pissed!" tendency toward overkill in the spell slinging department. The character concept is a warden who was literally drafted by the white council. He would really rather sit things out, but since he has a super low tolerance for BS, he was always the first wizard into a fight. After a while he just sort of gained a reputation as the guy everyone expects to get fed up and pick a fight first. In other words, his attitude is "NOW what?!" or "why am I the one who always has to deal with the ***holes?!"

What I'm looking for is a way to build in a behavior that causes other characters to go " Dude, that was just...... I mean DUDE :o"

I was toying with the idea of a hunter type character from the Supernatural universe.  Beyond starting with Vanilla mortal I'm at a loss. Any suggestions?
