My favorite theory is Cowl/Kumori=Simon/Elaine. Raidem loves his Mab=Murphy. So, who has a favorite theory that can discuss all night long.

Next is Harry's journey to the other side and what it portends as hinted at by conversations with Lash, Vadderung and Rashid.

My early TT theory for Maggie Sr is that she is a time traveling, alternate reality hopping kumori with senior mentor cowl. (Simon?, Lord raith)
So, her interactions with Harry begins hope that there is a better way forward than the path she chose.

My favorite Maggie Sr theory is she's stuck in the role of Nemesis after she died(like lash became the reaper) Mainly because Morgana la fey's Atheme ended up being important connection to N, Her 'La fey' heritage may mean she ended up with similar connections, other reasons.
This is why N is going soft on Dresden, she's confuzzling the rules and laws because she loves him.

I could discuss any theory all night long or at least nod in the right places while the majority of the discussion happens over my head. I am partial to the "Mac=Angel" theory and the "Warden of Demonreach being a mantle that Harry has not fully explored yet" theory.

I have two that I like...
1) Simon = Cowl
2) Hades/Earl King (Similar to Odin/Santa/Vaderung) are mantles held by one entity. We just haven't learned his version of Vaderung yet, but I think we may have a chance of learning this when we see the wrestlers.

my favorite theory is that the Calvin and Hobs book found by harry in Small Favors belongs to a time Traveling Maggie, Mouse and Bonnie. who time traveled into Harrys basement to use Harrys replica of little Chicago. I am hoping that this will be addressed in the YA fiction series that Mr. Butcher is co-writing with his sister.

Time travel caused Little Chicago is preferable to me. Bunch of energy to one spot, way portal through time and space with thaumaturgical connection to Chicago of now/then?

I think that Harry, and Merlin are walking similar paths, and that history may be repeating itself in such a way as humanity's survival is tested from time to time, and a champion emerges/created to protect the realm of Earth. Harry is that champion.

Ditto. that is the essential basis of most of my theory as it ties itself together.

Considering how often Harry has suggested that the original Merlin must have been a real jerk, it would be hilarious for Harry to find himself in similar situations.

I think it might have been a comment while he was watching the Bob-o-vision film of Demonreach's creation. Though, I could be wrong; my memory ain't what it was.

Harry is a reincarnated Merlin, still "in process" of building Demonreach. Reincarnation is what allows Merlin to create Demonreach at multiple points of time. Harry (this version of Merlin) will complete demonreach stage 2 during the final trilogy.

Found it in Changes when Harry and Molly go to Edinburgh while the Duchess is talking about peace.
"Nah," I said. "That would have been too much like work. Rumor has it that it used to be the palace of the lord of the Daoine Sidhe. That the original Merlin won it from him in a bet."
"Like, Merlin Merlin?" she asked. "Sword in the stone and so on?"
"Same guy," I said. "Doubt he was much like in the movies."
"Wrote the Laws of Magic, founded the White Council, was custodian of one of the Swords and established a stronghold for the Council, too," Molly said. "He must have been something else."
"He must have been a real bastard," I said. "Guys who get their name splashed all over history and folklore don't tend to be Boy Scout troop leaders."

Thanks to Knnn I got back a copy of my old theory notes that need put into an expressible form... so maybe around peace talks i'll have a showcase ready at least. (not going to focus on it in the forseeable future, need to work on my martial arts for awhile)
