Anyone else participating in NaNoWriMo this year? aka Does someone want to join in and be my support team because I've never done this before and I'm not a very fast writer? We can encourage each other and give each other feedback and such!
If you'd like to add me, username is the same as here, so feel free!

I'm doing it this year. I added you.
-
I'm doing it this year--first attempt at an Urban Fantasy.
My NaNo name is drd1812.
ETA: I'd add you guys to my writing buddies but can't for the life of me figure out how.
-
I tried to add someone earlier today and couldn't figure it out either, so don't feel dumb! Hopefully we can write better than we can add writing friends!
-
Liz I added you. I'm doing urban fantasy too!
-
Good luck to everyone taking part!
-
Sadly and pathetically, one of my students showed me how to add writing buddies. ::) I swear I'm usually quite technologically proficient!
You have to use the search option, which lets you search for people's usernames. That will pull up their profiles so you can add them. You would have thought it would have been under "My buddies" somewhere, but it's not....anyways, we're off! I have words written! That's something!

I am in, trying to get the core of the last book in the trilogy.

Six days in, and I'm at 13,126 words, and damn well detirmined to finish this one! ;)

So...how's everyone doing?
I'm running behind on my wordcount; lost a day to Real Life stuff and am trying to catch up as well as work out how to get some action into what is thus far a rather static, single setting story. Got some interesting character stuff, though, and my Angel of Death is shaping up to be a far different character from what I'd originally envisioned...
-
Always behind. But I'm sitting for jury duty on Tuesday so I'm hoping to do some catch-up then. :P This is one of the first times I've ever sat down and been able to write when I've had time though. It probably helps that I don't really have a story thought up so whatever comes to mind is going down as opposed to before when I've had a story that I wanted put into perfect words that I agonized over.
-
Had an upset stomach over this weekend, but I'm still pushing -- 20,489 words and five chapters down! ;D

Hit the 10k mark at least! And pretty much the whole weekend to write, so hopefully I can keep making up for some lost ground. Hope you all are finding some good writing time as well!
-
I'm at 33,157 words. Had my first back-to-back subpar days Thursday and Friday, but I hope to end that tonight...

Still behind, but making the effort to do at least 1000 words/night, which is really the only time I have to write.
-
15k, plugging along, and there are plots! And possible plots! And people who have plots against people who have plots! That's something!
-
I made the word count goal and validated.... The actual story is only about sixty percent done, but the annual NaNo productivity boost, has again provided motivation for the rest of the year.
Now I need to get back to the edits I have been ducking, I wish I could be a one pass and perfect writer.
Regards,
Kevin
Progression note, we are taking our first big advance and cruising to the Bahamas next Monday. A step at a time, but we are getting somewhere.

My own NaNoWriMo entry is, of right now, been valadated at 53,618 words. It's thirteen chapters done, but how many more is left to the future...... ;D

I finished up at 42,000, but I figure that isn't too shabby for my first ever attempt and working as a full-time teacher besides. I'm satisfied with it, I guess that's what really counts!

Got about 26K here. Had some interesting characters; damned if I could figure out what to do with them. It'll come, it'll come...
