DFRPG / "Grimm" template

Has anyone considered doing a template for a Grimm (from the show of the same name)? Or would you make them a Pure Human with certain skills?

First off, this thing is really awesome!

I've noticed a couple (related) things.

I have a wizard and when validating it says I don't have wizard's constitution. When I look, it's there, but the program isn't liking the apostrophe. You also then can't display the description and I get an error:

See the end of this message for details on invoking
just-in-time (JIT) debugging instead of this dialog box.

************** JIT Debugging **************
To enable just-in-time (JIT) debugging, the .config file for this
application or computer (machine.config) must have the
jitDebugging value set in the system.windows.forms section.
The application must also be compiled with debugging
enabled.

For example:

<configuration>
    <system.windows.forms jitDebugging="true" />
</configuration>

When JIT debugging is enabled, any unhandled exception
will be sent to the JIT debugger registered on the computer
rather than be handled by this dialog box.

This is true for the Phase Worksheet as well. When I've used an apostrophe or a quotes, I get this (but not all the time):

'with great power comes great responsibility'

Interesting stuff, though I can't seem to download the random Ghost chart without joining the site, so I'll pass on that.
At any rate, I'm looking at what i can do purely via Thaumaturgy, the character is already written and I don't really have the room for Mimic Ability in any form.

you don't need to join to dl, you just need to scroll down to "slow download".........wait.......enter the hideous captcha, and you have it.

not really, but it's like picking on Duke. It's a Fark thing. I've been begging for an Ohio tag for years, we are every bit is crazy as Fla.

Steam Tech for GURPS 3rd Edition, isn't it?

not sure what edition it is. I just know there is a GURPS steampunk and a supplement of tech.

Sounds fun.

I expect that the world's balance of power be heavily weighted against mortals in the Victorian Age. The army is less impressive without tanks and airplanes and nukes.

Plus, the lack of an internet means that you can take over a town without breaking the masquerade.

So we might see more in the way of supernatural dominion over mortals.

Not necessarily if one goes with the steampunk idea. Everything is possible with steampunk. Steve Jackson Games has a nice GURPS steampunk supplement with lots of nasty tech in it. Space 1889 is nice too, but not quite as interesting in terms of the tech to me.

DFRPG / Spell question- Web
« on: August 13, 2011, 12:26:59 PM »
I've read the rules but am still fuzzy on spell creation. For all you AD&D folks, how would a spell like "web" work?

Thanks in advance for the advice/help
