I am sorry, but I do not think we will be having it this year. Editing and publishing will take time. Perhaps for Valentine's? Thomas' birthday?
I have to admit if will be amazing to have it for this Christmas, but I do not see it happening.

I think the earliest will be March or April.

I think I have heard about the Santa Rosa storm at school in geography class. It occurs when the first warm winds of spring meet cold antarctic winds. I was always interested in the origins of global weather, how oceans and mountains contribute to it and about tectonic plates and volcanos.

I hope the storm won't be too severe. And yay! Hubby arrived safely.

   There still is the issue of "true love" to get around.  Was what Harry and Murphy had true love?  And if is was, is Harry still protected?  I also don't think undoing that will be all that simple, though it sounds simple.  I don't see it working out between Harry and Lara, yeah, there is attraction and they share a lot of points of view.. However there are some opposing view points between them that I think will just be a bridge too far for both of them.  I really think this will be one of those rare times when Mab's chess moves might actually backfire on her because of the push back she will get not just from Harry but Lara as well.

I agree in part.
I don't think, this will backfire at Mab, because she will have planned for all consequences. And no matter what will happen, she will win something of it.
And for the true love part:
I imagine a conversation between Lara and Mab.
Lara: "Your Knight is protected by the true love curse. The marriage cannot be consumated without him losing it. Please order him to do so."
Mab: "I don't care about your minor problem. I have granted your favor. If you are not content, so do something about it yourself. Or are you not as capable as I thought?"

And I think Harry will be highly motivated to find a way to deal with the Hunger demon. If not for himself, so for his child. Maggie will be in grave danger being too close to White Court Vampires in the future. And he has to somehow free Thomas without his Hunger consuming him.
I believe Harry will either invent a spell or an amulet or a potion to make the Hunger sleep. Or an amulet AND a potion. The amulet or spell for protection against the Hunger. For himself and Maggie. And the potion for the Whampire themselve. To make the demon sleep, as Lea did with the Red Court demons in Susan and Martin in Changes. Somehow it must be possible to do so.
This could be useful for the future.

We don't know yet, if Harry will loose the true love protection or not. But we know how it can be done: have sex with someone. And the other method is still just theory: the marriage vows.
But it is a strong theory supported by the short story "Something Borrowed" (correct title?) when Jenny Greenteeth tries to marry Will Borden. So the marriage vows are supposed to be a powerful magical binding.

And I do think, the true love protection is hard to get, but easy to loose.
 

Maen. I hope you are all well.

We are back home.
It was a fun trip. Though there was no time to go swimming in the lake. But we managed to paint our own plates and bowls. Mine has some music notes and colourful cats playing with them on the outside. And when I was almost finished, I decided to put an octopus inside at the bottom. This way when you empty the bowl, the octopus will greet you, lol. I am very excited how they will look when finished. They will burn the ceramics and then send them to us. It will take 3-4 weeks.

And we met with some relatives. One at the pottery market and my husband's stepmother and his aunt and uncle at their home. They live about 10 minutes away from the lake on foot, but as it is all mountains, you have a beautiful view over the lake and the little castle that's there from their terrace.

We were staying in a nice appartment a bit removed from the lake with three double beds. Very cool and not too expensive in comparison to some others. Next year the kids want to stay in our usual apartment on the 7th floor again, because it has an elevator, lol. I will need to book early then.


Today in the morning, cat Lisa woke me up, because she was hunting something in my bed. It was a dark round shadow of about 2 cm. At least that's what I saw without my glasses. I was actually glad, I didn't have my glasses, that way I could almost convince myself that it sure was only a big fly or some piece of fur.
I got up to give her the space to deal with it, so I'll never have to see what it actually was. But when I came back with my glasses and the light turned on, she hadn't dealt with it, and I saw the remnants of a big spider in my bed. I am glad it was already dead.
And she must have gotten it from inside the house. Yay.

It is good, that the cats take care of the insects inside, but please don't bring them into my bed, thank you, Lisa.

*old person rant ahead* --> When I was young, there were not movies to see in the car. You could watch the landscape, sleep or learn to entertain yourself with some game or, later on, with a book.
In all truth, I have no problems with kids watching movies now  As long as they are not awful ones.

LOL, before I had Micro, when Mini was still young, I always kind of looked down on people who had fancy equipment for entertainment. Guess it was envy, lol. Now I have my tablet, usually for choir only. All our songs are there in the Google drive. That's great, because we have about 1000 songs and we always either had to plan ahead what to sing, or couldn't sing something spontaneously , because most didn't have the notes. So sometimes we brought everything. Meaning two big and heavy folders minus the folder with Christmas songs. Around Advent time we had 3 folders. And books.

Now everything is on the Drive and I bought a bigger tablet so that I can see it on one page.

And there is free WLAN at the church and the buildings belonging to it. Yay. So no downloads needed,  only when we sing elsewhere.

This tablet can save a lot of data. And now I download movies or series to not have to endure the constant complaints of a bored child

Good find. This strengthens my theory that this was the point in time when Nemesis took over completely. Somewhere I have written, that I think, Thomas wouldn't have had the control to stop feeding on Justine when he was so injured. Nemesis stopped him. Because it was inside her before, probably since Grave Peril, when she was the Reds' prisoner, but once the last remnants of the real Justine were killed in Blood Rites, Justines Body became the main host. During her time of "recovery", Nemesis wasn't always "at home", because it was busy trying to corrupt the Leanansidhe and infecting Maeve and other shenanigans, I am sure.

In Proven Guilty, Lea is seen as a prisoner in the ice garden at Arctis Tor. But the ice is already melting. This is when Nemesis starts to control Justines body again, which can be seen during White Night,  when she leads Harry and Carlos to the Deeps.

My theory is, Nemesis can influence several people at the same time, but it can only inhabitate one at a time. So it was trapped in Lea, during her healing by Mab, thus could not be in Justine at the same time.
But there are traces of Nemesis left behind in each host, like a Fallen's shadow, I think. So the manipulation continues, even when Nemesis is not actively inside the person.

But Justine was different, she wasn't just a host any more after Blood Rites. Justine was gone, so Nemesis could not only be in her body as its host, but it could actually BE Justine.
