Dresden Files Podcast did a short debrief on it. Worth checking out for confirmation, that it's being discussed by the studio.

Lol I'm glad I could help. He's got spin offs as well that you can check out once you've ran out of Yancy Lazarus books. One from the perspective of a Big Foot Princess, the other from a Golem with the memories of Holocaust victims.

Might also wanna check out Hellequin Chronicles, has Arthurian and Trojan links. I'm currently on the first one.

Yancy Lazarus, is the closest I've found to Dresden, it might as well be a spinoff or alternate to Dresden. Wizard Black Ops agent, been around since Vietnam takes on various supernatural creatures. There's a Guild instead of the White Council. It's very good.

DFRPG / Re: Request A Character

Powerful member of the court with their own subarea of control and power, roughly equivelent of a Duke.
I imagine their purpose is to protect children in one form or another. Jack Frost would be a noble, of Kringle's. Abilities would be flight, Ice magic, maybe a powerful artifact in his Crook of Winter.

Peter Pan would be a Prince of the Fairies   like Tinkerbell and purpose would be to protect Changelings of the Fae, and give them a way out of choosing by keeping them young.  Abilities would be flight, swordmenship, magic of the Summer, or Spring.

DF Spoilers / Re: Cowl and Kumori are...

eeeyah I don't think Elaine and Harry are twins. Other than that major plot hole. The only thing I can think of that suggests Cowl isn't Justin, is that Cowl was eager to test his skills in Wizard Combat against Harry due to Harry's reputation on the White Council. Justin would have more than enough experience fighting Harry having taught him most of what he knows, as well as the fateful duel where he died.

Personally I think Cowl is Simon Pietrovich, who took up where Justin left off. In the RPG Paranet Papers it is clear that Simon has a history of going against the White Councils wishes, to the point where Ebenezar had to reprimand him officially as the Blackstaff.

WoJ is that none of the other kids have magical talent as Charity gave up her gifts, Molly was the only one who she was pregnant with while she was still using magic.

Having said that Daniel desperately wants to be a Knight of the Cross and did well in a knife fight against a lower talent in Ghost Story. He's also a Marine so I think he'll become a Hunter of sorts.

Well according to Thomas's explanation of the Oblivion War, their were multiple Old Gods and Beings who fought over the creation of the Universe let alone Earth hang on.

"Look you know that for the most part, the old gods have grown less powerful over the years, or have changed as they were incorporated into other beliefs"
....
"Beings like Tiamet needed a certain amount of mortal belief to connect them to the mortal world"
The eyelights brightened 'Ah' the skull said 'I get it! If no one remembers some has been god, there's no connection left! It can't remain in the mortal world!'
'Right' I said quietly. 'And we're not just talking about pagan gods. We're talking about things that people of today have no words for, no concept to adequately define. Demons of such appetites and fury that the only way mortals in some parts of the world survived them at all was with the help of some of those early gods. Demons who had to be stopped permanently'
....
"Shut them away. Leave them forever lost, outside the mortal world and unable to do harm. You can consign them to Oblivion"

And that is what the Outside and Demonreach are for.

I always thought the base in Lake Michigan was more of a portal to the Nevernever base of the Fomor. Like the portals to the Stone Table or Erlking's Hall outside Bass and Pro.

We also have their summary multiple times as being a conglomerate of a dozen different fallen pantherons and dark gods. Which is kind of the defitinition of Outsiders.

Gard says so in the short story Even Hand, when Marcone fights a Fomor Lord.

WOJ is that Harry is to Morgan what Morgan is to Ebenezar. So Ebenezar is three times more powerful and experience then Harry.

Harry does not have Morgan's experience or expertise in a fight.  It doesn't mean that Harry isn't also an effective and dangerous opponent, but he has a completely different approach--and he generally has a lot more to learn, still, before he is as formidable as someone like Morgan.

Granted, Ebenezar makes /Morgan/ look like Harry.  But hey. :)  There's always someone bigger or better than you, right?
Well the Formor are an alliance of dark gods from various defeated pantheons so I;ve always thought that there would be some sort of Outsider link.
