I have got to say a Knight of one of the Fae Courts. All the power of a Noble fae pacted into the frame of a mortal. Thats the ticket right there.

That is what I had planned to do the whole time. I sorta have to do that because most of my players are hardcore rules-lawers. Can't be a lawer if the rules arn't straight from the book.

Necromancy, Now the rule in it's fullest makes a difference between willing and unwilling spirits. That's how morty gets away with what he does. And it's an interesting read on hos Harry got away with what he did. He used a wording loop-hole that allowed him to summon a spirit back as long as it was non-human.  Long live Tyrannosaurus-Bob!

I like to have my games that allow me to look at what my characters attempt and then see if they succeed. You can't really do that with with a game that is all scene and chapters but, getting so bogged down by dice rolles and number crunching just to see if a chracter walks across the street without getting hit is a pain in the rear.

Well this is why we need this game to get out and in print because there are so many potental Antagonists and ways to introduce them that it is part of what will make this game great.

Time travel is a very tricky thing and that is why the Council is so harsh on it. I mean even the gatekeeper only hints at things and he is in a position that puts him outside the flow of time in it general understanding.

I have to agree there. Harry is the only wizard that seems to be willing to skirt the rules, and that is because he sees them as a bunch of Holier-than-thou pricks. And with the exception of a few, they are. Most of the higher up seem to want nothing more than to make sure that no one below them can un seat them in a power struggle that in reality will never happen. I can see, some of the rules as nessicary to keep the peace, buit the punishment delt out for most of the crimes are harsh without a chance for a fair trial. And the last law Is one of those ones that would be a unfair trial, it is so vague that the merlin can saw what ever he wants and it would have to stick.

At first thought I would say, without a doubt that I would want to play a wizard. But after thinking about it more I know myself well enough to know that I'd be running two characters anyway, so I thought about it and realized that A "Gifted" Mortal would be just kick ass. I mean look at Michael and of course Fix. I count the Summer Knight because they make it quite appaerent that he is human just "gifted" with the powers of Summer. But of course because it's the Dresden Files game, I would make my second toon a Wizard, hmmmm, maybe a Ramirez-type.
