DFRPG / Re: There's a church in my DFRPG town built in a giant circle

Im tinkering with a tweek on the dark hallow idea
An old priest one of the exorcising order get fed up that the denizens of the lower worlds keep getting called to his world. so twenty years later he is the proud papa of a new ritual.  since nothing is ever truly created or destroyed his ritual summons binds and the changes or converts the demons essence both on this side and the other into a usable energy(not truly demonic anymore). I could see him using that circle to summon an ancient demon and some of the others he's banished before maybe drawing their essence through the church(the build up of faith being essential).
it worked on the small scale but by taking in more and more powerful demons his sanity's shot and he gets a power boost of considerable proportions,  the church becomes deconsecrated releasing the (insert critter here) and the cast of players notice to fireworks

Im tinkering with a priest type whose perfected a ritual in the last 20 years tired of the harm he sees demons or the possessed inflict (im making him like morty but with diabolism).
The intent is to cleanse a demonic force and it worked sorta (basically a very very  watered down version of the dark hallow). he summons a bunch of them and doesnt try to destroy but convert their energy. It makes him crazy powerfull but also crazy he loses his faith and our heroes have there work cut out for him.

i doubt il be able to make it work but, you know how it is to make an enemy even the munchkin in the group wont want to tangle with.
cant decide if he'll have an ecto suit to make him spawn like or if he'll summon minions and roast our heroes beside the marshmellows

Im thinking more along the lines of the character being somewhat like an arms dealer, sorta.
you need a double to establish an alibi, a target to flush out that pesky sniper whose been taking shots at you.
some backup when you storm the lair of a formor badass and his turtlenecks the come to "insert character name" where we double your chances.
corny i know but I loved

I read somewhere that conjuring enough frogs to overrun a park is 11 shifts but if your conjuring a single copy of yourself would that be higher or lower.

yeah gonna probrably have to go the sorcerer's route with thaumaturgy.

LoL never Sell anything to a competant conjurer.

I can understand if summoning is the only way to get animated things. book throws me a lil.

Im considering a focused practitioner done as a conjuration specialist .

Dances with wolves
enchanted a collar to conjure a wolf directed by collar wearers  will.(he could sell them to a pack of werewolves.) *cue bubble gum commercial*

or maybe he's developed a knack where he can conjure a replica of himself enter a trance and posses the construct.
body would of course be vulnerable
