I think it means Harry has reached the upper level, and his mind, body, and soul are one... It was a sacrifice, it took hard work, but its a way of life.

I'll be a good boy and wait patiently:) Mostly because you have put such an awesome picture into my head! To return the favour, imagine the awesome flowing like wine made from hydroponic grapes in a cavernous chamber in a massive spire two miles wide set to "The Burning Heart" from Rocky 4!!!

My mind is blown:)

I was very excited to see the announcement concerning Jim's new steam punk series (Cinder Spires). Will you guys be opening up another sub-heading in Other Jimness for  the series? If you are, will you please tease us with snippets and such to whet our appetites?

Excited for the details as they become available!

Author Craft / Anyone heard of this?
« on: February 11, 2013, 11:11:02 PM »
Hey all,

Just read an interesting article from a group called Editorially.

http://blog.editorially.com/

Just wondering if any of you folks have heard of groups like this.

Apparently it's like an online community for writers where you can write and share your work with people for critique and dialogue. I have only recently begun writing again and am personally more inclined to write privately and share later, rather than doing so within an open space like they seem to be providing. Just wanted to put this out there for you all, because it may be of interest.

Hope you are all well.

I liked the early books in the S.M. Sterling world of "Changes" but the later books kind of drag on. Steven Boyett wrote a story along the same lines in the early eighties, and that didn't stop Sterling  :)

I say go for it, whether you read the other books or not. The Steven Boyett novel is "Ariel" btw, and its fun but by no means polished.
