I think Harry may benefit from a more efficient Little Chicago.  The previous one took an incredible amount of time, and energy to construct, and I just don't see him being able to get material from every building in the area to connect.

On the other hand I think it could be a good idea to build a type of perimeter around his location, and places of importance like Mac's place, Michael's place and so forth.  There will be gaps in his information but he could have a reliable warning system that something is happening, and a way to check in on places.

Mother Winter is the original, Mother Summer is not, the previous stepped down.  So a Mother can be replaced.  Also when Jim was asked about Nemesis infecting an Angel, he stated that Nemesis isn't some omnipotent Being, It has limits.  Leah, who is not remotely on the same level as a Mother was able to resist It, long enough for Mab to help her.  I don't believe that Nemesis is capable of taking on something as big as one of the Mothers.  It's just not on that level.

I think it's more like they want a foothold, and for mortals to begin worshipping the Old Ones.

True but remember that it was also said "his kind aren't for us", referring to Starborn.  Something has to be different about Dresden.

When you listen to Eb or Dresden talk about Black Court vampires they refer to them as "things" or "it", and not as a person.  Well when the BCV's had Dresden, one of the twins said "lets feed it to my sister", when talking about Harry.  Mavra refused saying that Harry's kind isn't for them but for Drakul. 

It's odd that he referred to Harry as "It".  Is this how they think of all humans, or is it because Harry is a Starborn?  Reminds me of when Harry first met Kincaid and Kincaid told Harry he was as much human as Harry was.

I don't think the Angels need to destroy a reality where Outsiders invade because I think the Outsiders unmake that reality.  Empty Night.  No more reality.  However as we are going to learn from Mirror Mirror, realities are constantly being created.  New ones are being born all the time.  This is probably why the Outsiders consider them "noisy".  They keep multiplying, and the creation of each new reality probably creates some sort of shockwave that the Outsiders sense, or feel.

I see realities growing exponentially.

Point is, her people did defeat them once

The White Court didn't defeat them though.  They released their weaknesses to the world.  They were killed off by human armies, wizards, and everyone else in the world.  Unless the White Court has some sort of other secrets about them, they really don't have much to offer.

No, it isn't.  The discussion was how Harry specifically, plus LtW, River Shoulders, and the wardens did vs Drakul and the Black Court Vampires.  The result was a loss.  "surviving is a win" was LtW referring to how he and River Shoulders did vs Drakul.  The vampires suffered no casualties while team Dresden lost people (who are now probably vampires). 

Also as I stated previously, Harry lost.  He was dead to rights and got rescued.  Being rescued by someone isn't a victory for you.  If I was being held hostage and police saved me, it wouldn't be my victory. 

So Harry and the Wardens got beat by the BCV's.

They didn't handle them.  Toot and the little folk showed up, and started attacking with garlic.  If not for them, Harry and the others would have been killed.

I'm also wondering if this will be an event where gifts are exchanged (like Bianca's ball).  The White Court will present a gift of value to Winter, and Harry will be charged with finding a gift of equal value.

Wamps galore, and a bunch of Winters.  The Carpenters, and the Werewolves.

Now, I know you usually give away the BRIDE, but in effect isn't Mab giving Harry away?

My opinion is Mab will want this to appear much like fantasy type wedding (think Cinderella).  It's a kind of royal wedding with Harry (Knight) representing Winter, and Lara being a type of princess.  So I think it will be more old fashioned. 

I think Thomas might be out by then.  He will be the one to give away Lara as Lord Raith I think will be too damaged to do it.

She literally had Dresden in a position he couldn't get out.  She could have ripped his head from his body.  Harry's inner dialogue was that he was powerless.  Dresden was caught off guard by her, but because of the Black Court's incredible speed, it's likely that the others were caught off guard.

I think that 1 vs 1 Harry, or the others could have probably handled any one of the Black Court vamps there but it was a group of vamps moving at super speed.
