Yes, there will be a Q&A before the signing!  Jim generally signs into the night.  Sometimes past midnight. As long as there are fans, he signs.  It's no surprise he's had to have surgery to address the repetitive stress injuries. :D

DragonCon is one of his fiancee's favorite cons, so I wouldn't be surprised if he attends next year, too. :D

And I'm trying to arrange Aeronaut's Windlass book plates for Jim to sign at DragonCon and Salt Lake City con.  I'm HOPING to have the map ready for sale at DragonCon, too.

A bunch of the stores on Jim's tour allow folks to order signed, personalized copies.  I know Mysterious Galaxy does, and I seem to recall there being others as well.  Check out the list of tour stops and support an independent bookstore!

With Jim’s blessing, I’m auctioning off an autographed Advance Readers Copy of Jim Butcher’s CINDER SPIRES #1: THE AERONAUT’S WINDLASS to raise money to help adorable doggies!  The auction also includes prints of my three maps for the series, which didn’t make it into the ARC!  Bid here.  Auction ends August 14th!

Unfortunately, no. It's very possible they'll find a few more ARCs to give away, but the book will not be for sale at DragonCon.
