Calendar Event Discussion / Re: Signing in New York, NY on 8/2
« on: August 04, 2011, 10:04:15 PM »
I'm not really satisfied with how these came out, but being a bit pressed for time of late ( Starbeam and I are getting married 8/13/11) I decided to go ahead and post them as is for those why may want to see. I hope you enjoy if not please direct your complaints into a mirror because that's the only person likely to care as much as you do  :P

The fact they got a chuckle out of it tells you just how solid they are. Great couple!
SHannon joked I should have given him a big wet sloppy kiss   :)

I think I will work with the fact that while standing in line to see Jim Butcher I got an email from Shannon K Butcher so I of course said "Oh Jim I just got an email from your wife, she says Hi"  ;D

You didn't have your finger partially over the mic, did you? I only ask because I've done that before.  :-\
was holding it the same way I did at Marscon and that audio is pristine. I was 4 feet from the guy that's why I'm for aggravated by it. I could have reached out and touched him without leaving my seat! Doesn't matter though I'm combing through the evening in my mind trying to remember something he said beacuse I need a new Sig line!

no the voices of those around us are crystal clear Jim's amplified voice is somehow quiet. It's not terrible just not as good as I would like it, but that doesn't matter I sat next to Jim Butcher and had a meal... AGAIN!!!!!!!!! Maybe an hours sleep, a LOOOOOONG day and not one single regret about any of it. Great night with some of the best friends a guy could ask for.

was someone going early to save some spots in line? I will be coming right out of work likely, but even still that won't get me into the city until 4:30-5 pm and then I have to get down to Tribeca. I would leave early from work, but I have to save my time for the following week as I have a prior commitment in Alaska.   ;D

If you think 5 is early enough to get there then I will likely be able to make it. I get out of work at 2:30 and I can catch the very next train out putting me in the city around 4-430 if Rachel takes a half day this is VERY Doable I think, so pencil us in. Will be a nice break as the very next weekend we will be married  ;D

forgot myself on behalf of us both Thank you.

Hey, YOU read into it. I'm just making random comments. *halo*
you NEVER make random comments. riddle wrap in an enigma wrapped in snark is what you are.

I wonder if THAT will get the hornets nest a'brewin'  ;D

Ramirez should've been it. My only real grouse about the original movie.
we shall have to have a chat about that someday. pros and cons I think he was tired and basically LET Conner have it but I digress. I've no Idea who trained which wardens.

I think that Holiday Inn did a fantastic job along with the Con organizers it was clean easy to navigate and well laid out. we things went a bit sideways they moved quickly to make sure it was fixed and the room rate was very reasonable . my one and only complaint was not being able to get the room cool enough, but even that couldn't put a damper on my fun. Fantastic weekend that passed WAY to fast.
