We're going to start sharing Harry's World -- the player's setting primer chapter -- with folks via a multi-part blog post series starting next Tuesday, August 4th, with new posts every other Tuesday after that. Once that wraps up, we'll get on into the paranormal politicking chapter, Old World Order. Stay tuned!
In the meantime, in case you missed it, Ryan posted up another status report: http://www.dresdenfilesrpg.com/2009/07/28/july-status-update/

Yay! Definitely something to look forward to!

We've leaked the first page (ish) of Harry's World today:

More to come in the weeks and months ahead!

That's a FANTASTIC ad at the bottom of that update, Fred.
And Harry's world is looking great.

Excellent.
If you can get a solid date, my FLGS may be willing to sell it. They were interested up until I showed them the blog and the lack of certain release date, at which they downgraded "yes" to "maybe."

There will be a solid date when we have a solid date. But we won't claim we have a solid date before we have one.

lol... You might want to sticky a thread with that info in the forum so you don't have to keep saying it.

He's linked to it about 30 times on the DFRPG information thread, and it's in his sig. I will posit that those who continue to ask despite these things would, for the most part, be asking anyway if the top thread in the forum was a stickied thread that was locked to non-mod comments wherein all the latest, up to date information was posted. People like to feel that they're being responded to directly.
-
And I don't mind (and even like) responding to folks directly. No need to defend me here, fellas. :)

I wasn't defending you. I was kvetching about human nature. (:

In the most recent post, you mentioned that the White Court had Stoker write Dracula, but I thought Harry said in Blood Rites that it was the White Council... I haven't read that book in a while, so I could be mistaken.

Suffice it to say one was the publisher, but the other had an agenda that fed into it.

It was stated differently in different books. White Counil in GP and White Court in a later book. Or vice versa.

Fantastic stuff. Though I've never played a tabletop RPG before, I've just decided to make this one my very first. Great work iago, can't wait!
