Not if we use IRC (Internet Relay Chat).  I think we can set up a channel on an existing server.  It's been a long time since I've worked with IRC, so I don't remember exactly.

 :) I have to agree with you on the chat room feature for this site. I like the idea of discussing favorite characters and creatures. So much to talk about but no one's listening.
