Hey, we call it the Eastern Shore here in Maryland.  That counts as no coast, right?

I wasn't around for previous signings :-[ but being in MA on the right coast doesn't seem to hold out much hope.

Yeah!  And if that doesn't work..... I'm nowhere near the shore.... Would he come to an interior (sort of) town?
What if there were no hypothetical situations?

WOOWEEE!  Illinois has Absolutely NO Coast!!  I think a Dresden signing in Chicago would be worth the three hour drive and the idiots on the road.

By that definition then no state with a lake, pond, creek, river, stream, swimming hole or any body of water gets a visit and I think that may be a bit limiting for an author tour.

Sweet. I'm in Kentucky.

I don't usually get to say that.

There's a difference between being one of the Great Lakes States and having no water, but heh, I'm lobbying for Arizona over here, so what do I care?

No itinerary yet, though Shannon mentioned that Jim's tour this year is covering the middle of the country, rather than the
coasts.  This New Yorker pouts. :D
I'd heard that he was going to be in Florida for a Con or booksigning sometime after the April release date. No?

This is one older sister that is thankful to hear that there is a chance that he is coming back to St. Louis.

My younger brother is a huge fan and he doesn't get enough credit for everything he does at home and at school, and with me living an hour away, I don't get enough opportunities to treat him to things that he thoroughly would enjoy.  He hadn't discovered the books yet when he was in St. Peters, MO a couple of years ago (he is only 16) and I would love to spoil him to an evening out where he can finally meet his favorite author.

Plus with me having Rheumatoid Arthritis and Multiple Sclerosis (I'm 25), I'm not exactly up to a road trip over three hours, so Mr. Butcher if you're watching this blog, I'd very much appreciate a quick stop in the St. Louis metropolitan area.

Thank you in advance!!

I'm lobbying for Albuquerque -- I understand it may be the black hole of the writing universe (I read that somewhere), but darn it, it's where I live and I'd like the chance to see Jim!

Um, Chiana. Most people don't come here on PURPOSE unless they ski or are on the way to Canada.
You know that!
Silly. Imagine, promoting BOOKS in Maine. Everyone knows most Mainers don't read! Geez!

Is that why Stephen King lives there? To get away from his fans?

Guess I'm not included in most people  :)  I moved to Maine for college.  But then, I was coming from Tx.

He also now lives part of the year in Florida.  And he lives in Maine cause he grew up there.
