PlayTesting Openings?

(1/2) > >>

SuperBunny:
I appologize about this being a somewhat "newbie" topic, but there's so many posts here it's hard to go through them all.

Basicly I wish to know how to go about applying to become a betatester of the Dresden RPG system.  I love his books, and would like to see a system for them finished.  and quite glad that it wasn't given to the horrible d20 system like most other series do.  Can't imagine a wizard with spells per day lasting long.

Also I wish to know where and how they do the beta testing.  is it message board-based, IRC-based, OpenRPG?

Thank you to anyone willing to answer my questions.

Look on the left side.  There's a whole section about signing up for playtesting.  It's an app, and there are many more apps than there are positions... just be aware. :)  But we're all hoping!

We might be nearing 600-800 apps, so yeah, a lot of apps, fewer positions.  And we've only done one round of selection, with another round coming soon.  After that, there'll be at least one more (hopefully that one will be the beta and, if we're lucky, the only beta).  Details of what all is involved can be had by following the State of the Hat posts I occasionally make on my LJ:

Doubtful I'll be selected then.  Plus I notice that the application is for entire groups of playtesters, not just for a single person applying.  and given I have no group, guess I'm out
