Brian:
Anybody else going to be there tomorrow (Sunday 27)? I do know if everyone else was flying home instead.
I spent 2 hours tonight doing the ghost tour in the gaslight district. It was enough to turn me into a believer.
Syntopicon:
I went to one of those in Charleston and one in Savannah...Savannah was nice cause they allow 12oz beverages carried openly, and the tour passed several bars. Duck in for a freshie, rejoin tour. ;)
Brian:
All the comic con visitors were running around the gaslight district as we did our tour. But they looked at the guide like she was the most bizaree thing they saw all day. Our guide was dressed in 1880s garb. Compared to alot of the comic con garb she looked normal.
I felt like telling them that she was dress as a character from From Hell.
We went into the oldest house in gaslamp tonight. It is a museum. Until tonight I had always kept an open mind about ghosts, neither believing or disbelieving. One member of our party took a photo of a painting. I looked at her digital camera when she did and we both saw the face of a man that was not in the room with us in the photo next to her.
I did a ghost tour of Colonial Williamsburg. But that was just walking around with a guy carrying a lantern. He shared a lot of history and stories about ghosts. Tonight was different though.
Now I just need to find a ghost tour of the Graceland cemetery in Chicago.
Syntopicon:
Haha, that would be cool.
I enjoy the ghost tours just for the history, the tour part and the walking. They are good like that. I try to do them anywhere I go that offers them now, whether there be ghost or not, still fun. :)
Savannah also won cause it is cooler than Charleston. ;)
