One Word Story Game

In honor of the writers round table thread I would like to start the one word writers game.  Each poster is only allowed to put in one word at a time.  400 posts later you usually end up with the oddest, yet many time, most comical story ever written.  Its a pretty simple thing.

1.  Read the previous post.
2.  Copy and paste previous post into a new response.
3.  Add you word and hit post.

Pretty simple I would say, right?  OK, so here is the first word of our story.
