I'd love to go, but it's the kids' birthday weekend. I don't think they want to spend it hanging around waiting to meet an author they've never heard of. Captain Underpants and Dr. Seuss are more their speed, unfortunately.

Unfortunately, I live in the city and Oak Brook is the "edge of the earth" to non-drivers.  Hope you all have a great time, however.

What are the 'rules' for these?  I already have "Small Favor" so can I bring my copy for him to sign, or do they not let you do that?  Will he sign my "Storm Front" paperback if I bring it?
