My favorite was from the 'Hour with the Butchers'. Jim and Shannon both were there, and you can tell they have a good relationship. Their back and forth banter was just great.
One good question:
Q: Do you base any of your characters on your spouse?
A: Shannon: "All of my hero's are Jim."
Jim: "And all of my evil women are Shannon."
Probably the most amusing statement came up in response to Jim's aversion to distractions while he works.
I'm paraphrasing here, because I didn't exactly record it.
Shannon: You talk like you have no space to write. You have your own office!
Jim: Yeah, but stuff still gets... in... like... sunlight.
(unknown fan shoutout): A bucket of black paint and a roller would fix that!
Jim (quite brightly): Yeah! Yeah, I like that idea!
Shannon: NO.
Jim: (hangs head)
Murphy's Stunt Double:
That"s just great!

He read the first four unedited chapters of Turn Coat (editing as he read). How's that for Q&A? Evil Grin
In addition, he again confirmed the 20 plus 3, but indicated if his son goes to Graduate School that would mean he would write more.... I'm thinking we need to bribe his son's career counselor for, I don't know--like four advanced degrees at a minimum?

One of these days, he will be close enough that I can go see him personally!
BTW - this seems like a good spot for me to let everyone know how great Meg is! This is the second time she's seen Jim, and offered to take something of mine for him to sign. How cool is she?!? :-*
