Twelve Months - What our you expecting from it?

Skavis & Malvora both got decapitated in the Raith Deeps -- not only the individuals who were their leaders, but the very-strongest of their Whamp's. The Raith leadership (and strongest members) are intact. I don't doubt that the Raiths took steps at that point to "raid" the resources of their rivals, stripping them also of mundane resources/power.

Good point. Lara is in a strong position right now with the whole Raith Deeps fight and Madeline's death after her treachery. It is possible that the Skavis & Malvora power play in the Raith Deeps is what the WOJ was referring to about Lara needing to consolidate her power in the face of internal pressure. I would be interested however in a story where Lara is somehow stripped of the White Court resources and has to fight to regain her position with nothing but her own abilities and the help of a certain wizard. Something along the lines of the Morgan on the run storyline.
LordDresden2:
I don't necessary _expect_ to see this in Twelve Months. But I think it would be interesting it JB went that route.
Imagine if on the other time line, because of Harry's choice, the Red Court managed to get enough of an advantage to break the White Council. So there's either no Council over there, or it's weak and in disarray and can't fulfill its purpose.
It could serve as an illustration to Harry why the Council is so important, why even his allies like Eb and Injun Joe and so on refuse to risk disrupting it. Seeing a world without the Council might give Harry a little different perspective on this world.

Yes, everyone is so excited about the prospect of seeing an "evil Harry," but Jim has been there done that with an "
evil Bob." I agree with you if it is about Harry making the wrong choice at the end or towards the end of Grave Peril, it's the consequences of that that is important. I think back to what Shiro told Harry about his decisions at and after the party and after that led to the Red Court declaring war on the White Council before they were ready to fight that war. So many things flow from that decision, the duel, Shiro's death and asking Harry to be the custodian of the Sword of Faith, Eb dropping a well aimed satellite, the conception of little Maggie, the wiping out of the entire Red Court..

Dunno that I'm "excited" about it... "interested," for sure.
But it's clear per WoJ that this is a much-darker Harry, more "off-black" than "morally gray," who has "stepped over the line."
Jim says Mirror!Harry is allied with Mavra; and that he summons alt!Harry's to die in his stead, when his own foes have him cornered and are about to kill him.

Which is really weird, context is everything, it's just from we know of Mavra, what we have seen, what we know of Harry, I cannot see Harry allied with Mavra under any circumstances. As I said, context is important, because for even that Harry to do that he had to have been screwed up long before we meet him in the series.. Not saying there isn't something so dire that he must, but then you have to wonder if instead of a Star Trek Mirrormirror scenario, it will turn out to be more of a Skin Game double, double cross...
