Primrose Flowers

(1/2) > >>

RobReece:
Just a quick question,  doing a re-read and I'm in Changes. Harry and Bob are in the Nevernever across from his apartment.   What was the significance of the flowers being Primrose?  I assume that it in someway identifies Lea, but don't remember seeing that connection elsewhere.   Anyone else know?

vincentric:
It's a joke reference to intruders for following the primrose path.

This

Being "led down" or "going down" the primrose path (or the "garden path") is a colloquialism for foolishly wandering into (or being led into) danger/destruction, with the first steps being pleasant/attractive.

It has connotations of "should know better".

RobReece:
Ok, thanks

Thank you. How funny! Didn't know that saying. Now I'm going to have to read Changes again. *sigh* Pity.
