Conspiracy Theorist:
My guess an introduction to Mr Sunshine, for their mutual benefit. As of Ghost Story Mort has shown himself a just champion of the dead, and Uriel has serious connections to the Afterlife. I presume the two will work out a deal like Uriel has with Kringle, so no-one treads on the others toes.
