Hello Don!! So good to see you!
I am getting ready to enjoy a lazy dinner of sandwiches. To be honest, it is not too hot today, but I did not feel like turning on the oven or anything else to cook. So cold dinner tonight.

Hey there!
I have not read everything in the DF spoilers yet. But I wanted to drop by and say hello!
I enjoyed the book though I kept expecting Harry to wake up, find out it was a dream, but one that gave excellent ideas to resolve his problems. I had the impression that everything was resolved way too easy compared to the other books. In some way it felt like Jim wanted to treat Harry better with this book and I like how he did it, but it kind of doesn't fit in with how he approached these things before. I am not talking about the PTSD and depression, this was some really good writing, but everything else.

Welcome back!
I think I understand what you are saying about Twelve Months but I personally had no problems with that.

TBH, the "it was all only a dream" retcon-event was already over-done the very first time it was done!   ::)

Well, after all, Harry deserved to be treated a little better after all what happened .

MAEN, all  :)

I'm new here to the boards; I've been researching where to find more information about the world of Dresden and this seemed to be the best place. I've read the stickied topics regarding rules and Don'ts and such, which eventually led me here to the Bar, and then to the Weird. To be honest, I only have one question that I haven't been able to find an answer to, whether on Jim's websites or just googling in general. To that end, I've come here in the hopes maybe someone who has been around the fandom for a long time would have an answer.

If I wanted to ask Harry himself for advice, was there ever a fan mail option where Jim would offer Harry's insight into the questions? Or maybe a fan-run option for something similar? I've seen various authors who will sometimes respond as the characters for I guess an "immersive experience", but I haven't found mention of anything like that for the Dresden Files series.

Thank you for making this forum for fans to gather, and thank you for taking time to read my inquiry.

MAEN!
Welcome to the boards  :)
I have disappointing news for you. As far as I know, the answer to your question is a "no". At least, I am sure that JB himself does not do that, and I did not hear of any account doing it. I am sorry. But you could ask a question in the DF Spoilers section and ask the community to tell you what they think that Dresden's answer would be. I believe it could be fun! Of course, if you had not read all the books, ask the question in the DF books section, not the spoiler one, and make clear in the first post until what book you have read.
