New Weird

Dina:
I have not seen the video, but I can imagine how that it is weird. Francis was a football (soccer) fan, so I see how they continue the line  :)
Leo spent a lot of time in Perú too and he has the double citizenship, so Peruvians are celebrating they have a Peruvian Pope.
Side comment, my native language is Spanish, so the Pope is called León XIV (León = lion). I always felt weird when I wrote Leo because it sounds so much like the nickname for someone called Leonardo, it is like the way you talk to a friend or family member, not the Head of the Church.
Back on track, yes, I think it was very strategic from Francis to name so many cardinals with a more progressive worldview (to a degree, of course).

Talby16:
The fact that Pope Leo has dual citizenship is awesome. His worldview is bigger than many other popes and will be a benefit in the years to come when navigating all the challenges the church faces.

Dina:
I agree. He speaks several languages too but that is not so weird. Many Popes have been cultivated people. But I think the fact that he has spent a big chunk of his life in two countries so different like USA and Perú gives him a boost. As you said, his worldview is bigger.

Let's hope he is a friend of Michael Carpenter and Father Forthill  :)

Indeed. Maybe he can institute the necessary reforms to keep the Coins securely locked away.

I am sure he will. From what I have read about him, I believe he will be a good pope and able to lead the church into modern times.

@Dina: thank you. I will look into Eternauta in the next days.

Edit:
For now we are still watching Blacklist.
