Mab and Eb - Battle Ground

I was re-reading Battle Ground again and something leapt out at me.  In Chapter 6, right before they get dive-bombed by one of the flying squids, Mab nodded to Ebenezar and said, "Br---"

We don't really know much about Ebenezar's family.

Was Mab Ebenezar's sister?

Mab is much older than Eb, she rode with the Conqueror, William of 1066 and all that. Eb is well over 300 years old, but it is considered at least a millennia in their ages.

This is a theory trotted out before and will be again, at which point you get to point it out to them.

Con:
I think "Bring" as in bring something to me or bring your troops foreword or any other tactical command is more likely.
