Demon reach is Avalon or of similar origin?

Morgan Le Fay?  King Arthur being healed there (like Harry being healed on Demon Reach)?  Exist outside of normal time?  Like Demon Reach being created at different points in time?  Excalibur was also supposed to be created there, and is now located on Demon Reach.

I wonder if Demon Reach was a wonderful place before all the dark things were locked away there.

Demonreach was chosen for a purpose, not the least of which is because it sets in the center of a large body of fresh water, per Vadderung. In some versions of the myth Merlin is half demon and is locked in a tower in an eternal prison.  Which would seem to reflect what Demonreach is.
