Yes, and something he could handle in the first half of the series, however it is beginning to suffer
from being drawn out way too long.

that was because of events outside of writing that caused a major delay in new books.  Things are good now, and I think he's going to be putting out books at a good pace again.
Stole this from Reginald because it was so well put, and is true for me as well.

Yes, he has had a rough time, however that doesn't account for everything since he was writing, just not the Dresden Files.
